Gravenberch at centre back today shouldn’t be an issue - but it’s a dismal thought that he may feature more regularly there in any premier league or knockout matches in our cups.
Why not play a kid who has about 15 minutes of first team experience across 2 matches and a 100% red card record? I mean its obvious isn't it

Under Klopp, you know when the point finally came when City capitulated and lost the league to us? When they started playing their DM (Fernandinho) at CB because they didn't have enough CB cover in their squad.
You know when our title defence was done the following season? When we lost VVD to injury and switched our DM (Fabinho) to CB because we didn't have enough injury cover (and we did better late on in the season when we put lesser (but specialist) players like Kabbak and Big Nat at CB and put Fabs back in his proper position).
Tonight we're switching our DM to CB and playing without a proper DM. Sighs.
It really doesn't matter whether the DM can do a job at CB, they should be played in their proper position and we should sort out an alternative defensive strategy. I'd be OK with Endo playing there, as long as we have a proper DM in the DM position, because he's played there a fair bit in the past.

It is the old weakening two positions instead of just one.
Or, it's weaking two positions a bit, vs weakening one a lot.
While not trusting the squadies like Endo, running others into the ground.
