Not good if we're missing both Gini and Lallana. Still 1 week to go mind.
A hamstring doesnt get fixed in one week unless you're Robben and have some horse placenta lying around.

Depends. Could be cramp. He walked off the pitch. Watched the game hoping for a Holland goal but that fucked up my acca. Need just one bloody Holland goal.

It might be a blessing in disguise. Can comes in to take the defensive role and Henderson moves up to a more familar CM role.
But what do we do about Lallana in that case?
I think the only solution there is to move Coutinho into midfield and let Sturridge play upfront.

Has anyone considered moving Milner into midfield with Moreno coming in? Or is that just too risky?

This team:

----------------Mignolet/Karius (Doesn't really matter atm)

Clyne-------Matip--------Lovren--------Milner

----------------------Can

---------Henderson----Coutinho

Mané-----------Sturridge-----------Firmino

In wijnaldum and Lallana we are losing a terrifying amount of continuous pressing

I'm a lot more concerned about the match without them

Come Monday, "There goes the final whistle, Liverpool with a convincing 4-1 victory"

SCM: "Lallana who?", "Wijnaldum who?"

Nah. If we beat those scumbag with such a narrow margin people will be anxious to have them back in the team asap!!!

I hope you're right but I'm far from convinced.

Without them I can see a narrow victory turning in to a convincing loss

This is really fucking annoying, made more so by the way it unfolded.

I was watching the first half of the Holland/France game and obviously had a particular eye on Wijnaldum, maybe more so than usual when watching Liverpool. He had an excellent first half, the standout midfielder on the park marked mostly by his relentless energy and intelligent pressing / ability on the ball. He really looked like the complete midfielder. I turned to my visiting father-in-law (a Utd supporter) and said something along the lines of what an impressive player he is with lots more potential. His predictable answer was that Wijnaldum is overrated and utd have at least 5 better midfielders (twat).

He then said, "don;t worry, he'll do his hamstring second half with all that running".

I avoided him after the game.

It is like some sort of apocalyptic nightmare where everyone has been infected with a disease and now worships Wijnaldum.

We'll certainly cope without him, but if both him and Lallana are out for United then it's a big loss. Losing two thirds of your starting midfield the week before you play your biggest rivals obviously isn't the best preparation.

I'd look to move Can into the midfield holding role which requires less in the way of running and pressing and have Coutinho and Henderson in front of him.

To make it worse I read an interview with Danny Blind were he said that Gini complained about a tight hamstring at half time, but he let him play on.
This whole thing could have been avoided but that cunt obviously wanted Gini to stay on so they could get something out of the game.

And on the Seventh Day, Herr Klopp created the Messiah for the role to whom we all know as Lucas..

Pogba departed as he step forth commanding the midfield like no other had done before.

Mourinho threw his toys out the pram as Lucas pulled off one of his trademark fouls that literally cut Pogba in two, and got away with it..

Liverpool won the game 3 - 0
