Xabi Xabi la vie

Fucking hell. Replacing my Xabi Xabi la vie thread with the unbelievable reference to Sandra Kim from the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest. It’s such a narrow one that you’d need a map and compass to find it. Stellar work if I may say so myself.
Ah well, what could have been. 😂

Christ give me a chance. I'm merging like fucking mad here!

There's a lot of over rated young managers about at the moment.
Wonder if they would go all out for Klopp.

Alonso to be revealed as new Liverpool boss after we go out of the cup v Barnsley cos ol slap head has played the under 21’s.

How come there's so many top Basque managers? Luis Enrique, Emery, Arteta, Alonso, Iraola. They all come from a little bit of coast a few miles apart. What's going on? What happened?

Fly him to Liverpool for the game tonight, if we’re not 5 up by half time, sack the cunt and appoint him.

If he doesn’t win his first 10 on the bounce, sack and get Arbeloa in.

Read these previously:

“It’s a coincidence but a real pleasure,” Iraola tells FourFourTwo. “The only reason that it makes sense is that Mikel, Xabi, even Unai… none of us were physical players. We needed the understanding of the game to play well. It’s probably helped with our transitions into managers.”

That focus on youth football, on teaching, Diaz notes, brings with it opportunities for coaches: the more you coach, the more you need coaches. And those who teach coaches. "The role of coaches is valued highly and the structures in place in Basque football prepare players to stay in the game. Clubs here turn to homegrown coaches," Diaz says. In the past two years, 700 new coaches have gained their licence in Gipuzkoa.

"There is a culture of doing things collectively here," says Jon Ayerbe, who played with Arteta, Alonso and Iraola at Antiguoko and now lives in Germany. "There's a strong sense of doing things as a group. No one tries to stand out over the rest. That idea is deep in society here and you see it clearly in Xabi and Andoni: reflective, intelligent, no presumptuousness."

No way would I get Xabi at LFC especially after failing at Real and secondly not sure he would be happy to come to UK with Labour gov and current tax rates. I would imagine Turkey or Saudi maybe fitting for his needs.
