I like the idea, but Bradley! His tournament was of Fred-like quality.

To be honest I couldn't really think of much except for defenders and keepers, I was just guessing with him.

Gerrard would have to be in the worst XI . I genuinely don't think I've ever seen someone so woefully ineffective for England at a World Cup , every game passed him by , maybe it was the position, the set up, the fact everyone else was also dross but he was a standout non-performer for me.

I know that seems a little over the top but contributed nothing bar a decent pass in the Italy game I think it was, given Gerrard has been one of the better performers for England over the past decade consistently it made it all the more obvious
