So the majority of the fans want Rodgers out, and the squad needs a massive overhaul by the looks of it.
Time to dig deep FSG, get your hands in your pockets, and buy your way out of this. Fuck FFP, just as City do, we'll get a 20mill fine at the most.

My concern is that Rodgers gets the boot and we can't attract a top drawer manager. He's got to go now though, enough is enough.

Do we really need to dig deep? We need to instill confidence in the side and organise them as a team, they can't all be shite, it doesn't matter who plays, it's the same crappy outcome. We need a spine and we need a top quality attacker, but the basis of a good squad is there.

To put up such a performance after the manager has so confidently claimed he's 150% sure of remaining at the club next season and on the club captain's last outing is quite telling...

My hope is that FSG have learned a bit about football over the last 3 years and will revert to a straightforward set up with a proven manager, like Klopp.

I just pray FSG have the bollocks to ditch the fraud. Not sure they have and if they do they won't be going for the likes of Klopp.

[article=http://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/jun/04/liverpool-brendan-rodgers-kenny-dalglish] "I respect every player who has played here and passed through the club's history. There are three types of supporters at every club. No1 is those who love their club and love their manager whoever it is because Liverpool is their life and their passion. The second group is supporters who will accept you but to earn their real respect you have to be successful. That's fine.

"The third group are the critics and you never change them ever. Ever. If you win 4-0 it should have been five, if you win one league title you should have won three. I will never worry about that group because you can never change them. I understand that not everybody will want me here. But that's part of the dance."[/article]

[article=http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26591288]The best players want to play in the best competition. Any club will suffer the same when they’re not in there. It will hurt you, and United will know that[/article]

"Hopefully it continues to grow. We have gone from a team who was looking to put a style of football in place - high energy, high tempo - to one who wants to have success running alongside that and success is getting into the Champions League.

"This first 18 months has been (about) implementing and introducing a lot of ideas which are hopefully bearing fruit and the next 18 months is about developing and enhancing that.

"Over the next 18 months we want to eventually be really challenging on the trophy front."[/article]

[article=http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/oct/24/brendan-rodgers-rules-out-defensive-coach-liverpool]“There is no chance of us bringing in a defensive coach,” Rodgers said. “We have conceded a large number of soft goals, there’s no argument about that, but I think it is just a lack of coaching time that is hurting us. We need to reinforce basic principles at defensive set pieces, but we know that already. We have to get better and we will be working on it.

“When I first came in I was asked whether I would bring someone in to help the strikers score goals. I didn’t, and we got goals anyway. I think what we have this year is more games to carry, which takes a slight intensity out of us. We are in the big competitions now and there is an added expectancy on us, which there should be. We are Liverpool. When you concede the goals that we have been conceding there will always be questions asked of you. We need to answer those questions and I believe we can. In terms of bringing someone else in, we don’t need it.”[/article]

There's just no excusing that result, I'm afraid. If it was a flattering result Rodgers would be draping it around his neck. It's a shameful, shambolic end to a horrible season, and it's painfully clear he's a dead man walking.

I wasn't Macca, I was saying that moving forward our form and our squad are largely two separate issues. There's alot of quality in the side but it needs someone who can organise it. We need to buy, but alot of players are looking worse than they are. Take Can, for instance.

Okay, yes. We need a new spine, though. It really, really sticks in the throat that Rodgers spent about a year and a half claiming he had inherited a terrible squad, a truly awful squad, when it consisted of a pretty decent bunch with just maybe three or four changes required. Since then he's taken it to this. And only a couple of months ago he was still trying to put the blame on the squad he inherited. Truly gobsmacking.

I've backed Rodgers so far. When we lost to Villa in the cup semi-final i wanted to see if he could revive the dressing room to finish strongly. He couldn't. He's been badly let down by a shower of a team but the buck stops with him. So that's it, he has to go.

Not this nonsense again. Like it or not, it's their money the club runs on.

We are humiliated beyond beleif on their watch.... If it was one off it was forgivable, but its not. Sorry I just cant take the lack of interest combined with teaching the football world how to run a franchise. They can fuck off.... No fans will lead to no income will leave to no money.....

When the other option after KD was Roberto Martinez, it doesn't give much hope fsg will get the decision right.

They must get hold of Klippety Klopp and cancel Stevies trip to Hollywood and instead make him part of the backroom staff.
