I think that deal fell through because Wolfsburg changed from a loan w/ option to buy to a loan w/ requirement to buy; but who can blame Wolfsburg after seeing how Italian clubs negotiate. I don't think he is actually cut out for the premier league; if he failed in the bundesliga I wouldn't be after him. Imo, thats the closest thing to the premier league so I wouldn't take flops from Germany.

Why? He'll be one if the biggest names in the competition and will be able to play in the A league for about 3 years.

He gets to live in Sydney instead of Blackburn.

More importantly - he won't have to do any chicken commercials.

Actually, I reckon that we have got most of our number one targets this summer, the exception possibly being Coates, with Jones being the first choice
 
Rosco find me alternatives to downing and Adam that would have cost less and outright performed better over the past 3 weeks.
