Andrew Robertson, Scott McTominay and Ryan Fraser have withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the European Qualifiers against Cyprus and Kazazkhstan through injury.

Doesn’t Zaha come in from the left so he’ll be flattened by Trent.

I thought this was something about Singles Day ! Alibaba ALONE in China sold US$38 billion of goods in 24 hours (over 10 billion in the first hour), never mind all the other sellers. Insane. OK sorry for the alternative plane of existence detour.

Great ! But I hope a few days does not mean traveling out to Kazakhstan - that's a bloody long way !

Hendo is suspended and will miss the Montenegro game. Trent will probably not start since Southgate is so in love with Trippier.
This probably means that they both will travel and start in the meaningless game against Kosovo on Monday or Tuesday next week.
Possibly Ox and Gomez as well.

That's just great for us.

Salah and Robbo will be fit, no doubt about that. Nice rest for nearly two weeks.

Actually it's probably better that way. Players aren't at their sharpest after long lay-offs so resting now and then a game to sharpen them up could work in our favour, rather than two weeks without a competitive match.

Yeah, come to think of it, might be a good idea

[article]Joe Gomez has had the worst possible end to the most turbulent week of his career after being ruled out of England's trip to Kosovo with injury.

The Liverpool defender has been sent back to his club for a treatment on a knee issue sustained in training on Friday after he collided with Atletico Madrid right back Kieran Trippier.

It is understood the issue is not serious, other than some minor swelling, but England's medical team deemed there to be no point in risking Gomez by taking him out to Pristina for the final Euro 2020 qualifier.

That sentiment was also applied to Gomez's Liverpool team-mate Jordan Henderson, who has also been sent home.

Henderson has been struggling with a virus and England deemed it would be better for him to go back to Merseyside and recover properly. [/article]
