Such a shame, I was just thinking how well we'd done this half too.
The entire defense fell asleep. So shit.
Well, ex-Liverpool player to one side, it wasn't hard to predict because we are shite defensively, and Benteke is a good striker and finisher, and great at attacking balls into the box.
Cunts are waiting for half time, they should be besides themselves that they let Palace score such a pathetic goal.
Plus we always struggle against mobile big fellas
Two lovely goals, quite even. Not a great game really. We look very one-paced all over the pitch, unsurprisingly.

We've had a ton of possession, and just not managed to push through with anything - Milner should have pulled the trigger and hesitated, same with Origi, who's been a bit off the pace too.
Their goal was pathetic on Lovren's part - and Sakho ... well ... he can fuck off.
Need more from Clyne when he's in the final 1/3 (again).
Need more from Origi
Lucas and Can have been fine, but make their presence a bit more felt.
A bit more urgency and we should win this game.
Regardless, I don't think a draw is the end of the world because of who Manure & City play next (each other)

Lucas has barely made any difference, though him and Can are getting lots of space in midfield.
Defensively Lucas has pretty much just been going around fouling their players. In their defense, Crystal Palace are playing wide and focusing their attacks on the wing so there's not too much they can do.
Just look at their goal, both Can and Lucas were in the middle of the pitch with barely anyone to mark.
The Liverpool players are waiting for the half time whistle, instead I believe they should be very angry and disappointed with themselves as they defended so poorly to allow Crystal Palace to equalise via a very poor goal.
Origi has been ineffective, though we haven't given him much to feed off really. It might be worth putting Firmino back there where he will drag the centre halves around and give space to the other players around him. Either put Origi wide or maybe look at getting Grujic on.
This is the problem in these sort of games, at home where we're expected to take initiative, we're effectively playing with two holding players (although Can does carry the ball forward), it ends up effectively like having a luxury player, because we've got two doing the job we only need one to do and in the end they mark no one and become pointless and ineffective. Get one of them off and put a more attack minded player on. The goal was the fault of the defense in the end, but Palace have repeatedly played around our midfield on the break. So as I said, having the two of them in the middle in those sort of situations is fruitless.
We'd done really well, we just switched off for one fucking play, it's so fucking frustrating. Getting a goal this half will be very difficult.

They play with quick wingers and have a striker who feasts on crosses. And we are not set up to deal with this. So we'd sure as fuck better knock another couple goals in pronto or this match will be added to the list of missed opportunities
