I'm a failed veggie right. Over the years I've had at least 5 or 6 stabs at it. Reason being, I don't agree with eating meat but, fair fucks, it's tasty. No argument there,
It doesn't remove the feeling for me that, essentially, it's wrong. I love animals, I love the earth, sounds corny and shite but, as you get older you get "earth boy", at least I have.
I think, if people had to either (1) kill their own tea, or (2) witness the killing process, they wouldn't eat meat.
I think people should be exposed to what it means to kill an animal and process it. And I think they should be exposed as children. Tell your kids what goes into a nugget or a burger and how that affects the cartoons they love. Watch an animal get slaughtered for your tea.
