The rest he’s getting should pay dividends. He’s played more than anyone else over the past 3 seasons hasn’t he?

Thiago looked better yesterday because he won the ball a few times. The problem is he keeps hold of it a second too long so he's often in danger of losing it again. And it takes him an extra moment to pass the ball because he's got a weird way of kicking the thing, a kind of showboat touch that makes you think Zoolander has learned to play footy. Until you see Arteta's hair and think, nope, that's Zoolander.

We were always going to beat Arsenal.
But it looked good yesterday, I must admit.

Thiago is exactly what Man U is missing in midfield.

The Fabinho - Thiago partnership is fantastic. We need to be protecting both to keep it going in the league. They are next level.

Arsenal were really awful yesterday. They totally lacked ambition and clearly came with the intention of playing for a draw and maybe sneaking a win.
They were clearly afraid of a tonking. As Lucas would say. "Unluckeeeeee"
It seems that Arteta has learned some Guardiola tricks when it comes to overthinking games and not letting his team play their natural game.
Though it could be argued that being spineless bottlers is precisely Arsenal's natural game.

He can't play holding midfielder. He struggled there last year. He looks excellent when Fab is holding

The Greek looked a waste of money and rubbish in his first season where he made a sub appearance against Man City when we were getting beat 4-1 with 5 minutes left?

    Ok....
