Onwards to the next one. Thoughts on how we line up?

For me it is one tweak which is Fabinho coming in. I would rather see Gini out than Naby given Naby had a great performance against them at the end of last season. I wouldn't be upset if it were the trusted Fabs, Hendo & Gini however.

--------------Alisson-------------
TAA----Gomez---VVD----Robbo
-------------Fabinho--------------
-----Hendo----------Keita--------
Salah-------Bobby----------Mane

Id maybe drop bobby and play minamino too..

I dont think Klopp will do that, he rarely makes big switches in high profile games and he never drops one of the front 3 when fit. But its getting to the point where its getting harder to justify Firminos place.

I’d tell van Dijk to be on his game and Robbo use all his dark arts smashing Werner everywhere.

Then twat them 6-0. Mané with 4 and Salah with 2.

Yeah there is no way Klopp is dropping Firmino... plus I don't like Minamino in that position. He needs to play a little deeper.

Agree with you but pretty sure Klopp will play Gini over Keita

Midfield was too open against Leeds so I imagine Klopp will revert to the tried and trusted trio of Hendo/Fab/Gini to stifle them. Unfortunate for Keita who has looked sharp so far.
Let’s hope we smash them so Klopp can once again “give it the big un” to fat Frank the twat/cunt.

We need Keita against the deep-defending Arsenal for sure. Maybe Jones too. Agree with Fabinho coming in for Chelsea and either Naby or Gini to partner Henderson is fine.

I feel like I need Keita to have one of those big games against one of the top sides. I don’t see a player who will dominate and dictate a game, more the type who will have moments of impact that can decide a tight game.
He needs to stake a serious claim to being a fixture in the side.
This is his season to do that, maybe Arsenal/Chelsea could be the game.

I like the idea of Henderson, Fabinio and Naby. That said I don't think Klopp will have been in Gini's ear convincing to stay, then drop him for the first big game of the season.

I think it would be a great idea to again remind ourselves of how we look without a defensive midfielder on the pitch.

How did we look when we were winning all those games when Fabs was injured last season.
And I really like Fabs.

Anfield is like krytonite for Bobby’s goal scoring powers.

Play him in the away games.

I think we’ll see a 4231 for this with two possible twists:

Salah up top with Firmino behind and Hendo on the right, Mane left.

Or Keita/Minamino in behind Firmino and Salah/Mane right and left.

It would make sense to keep Salah where he is (RW) given his performance on Saturday and also that Chelsea's fit LBs are a bit defensively suspect. Mane will once again have a harder task with Reece James.

Yeah, I like the idea of Mo running at Alonso all afternoon too.

If it is 4231 though, I can see Klopp wanting to a shoehorn a 3rd cm for solidity, and he’s used Hendo there before.

Lampard has become someone I really dislike. He's a snide little shit. He also doesn't seem to realise that you start anew when you become a manager - it's no good boasting about what you won as a player in order to demand respect from other managers. You never heard Dalglish do that, or Gerrard now. I guess because Fwank went to public school he has an ingrained sense of entitlement that can't help but come through.

Chelsea are potentially my most hated club in the league, i really really want us to twat them here.

It's interesting thinking about it based on your post, but I've not seen or heard of John Terry doing anything noteworthy in terms of acting the twat since he joined Villa as a coach, but indeed as you say, Lampard can't seem to help himself

I read his comments about how winning teams have had to spend a lot, and he cited us as an example.

He spent loads at Derby and failed to achieve promotion. Went to Chelsea, and despite a transfer ban, received a $60m player in Pulisic for his first team. Failed to win anything again.

The fat headed twat needs to learn some humility.

I've been off the Chelsea hate train for years now.

But with Lampard at the helm, I'm getting back into 2005 peak Chelsea hatred.
Are we surprised considering the managers he's had for most of his career? Especially the one who he won most with...
