3 weeks break minimum for everyone I think. So I think Hendo and the Brazilians will be back only by first week of August, maybe in time for our final couple of preseason games.
The rest (Robbo, Neco, Thiago, Shaqiri, Wilson, Jota) will all filter in once they've had their full 3 weeks, unless of course any of them are sold earlier.
Even the Brazilians didn't play many games. Hendo hardly featured. The squad should be well rested.
I guess removing mental pressure and the potential they may have picked up Covid might figure into that 3 weeks.
They were still in training. Hendo just came back from injury and to be completely honest, I don't think he looked that great in the tournament, mainly fitness-wise.
Alisson has been relegated to 2nd keeper in Brazil, I think he played in two of the group games.
We play Norwich first. It could have been much worse, but I'd still want Alisson in goal for that one.
Right now, if I'm being completely honest, I'm just pissed off that we haven't replaced Origi yet.
Ali could turn up on the day of the Norwich game and still be our best option in nets.
