I think head to head comes into the equation at some point but this early in the season alphabetical seems logical.
Yes. Though why they don't write both a 1. next to both clubs is beyond me. Just being petty of course.

Don't think head to head comes into it. If points, goal difference and goals scored are all equal, then they're equal positions, but there's a playoff if one is needed for winner/relegation/qualify for Europe.
