Well at least he won't be around to bother you.

Pfft, right !

Rosco won't be happy until Rafa is 6 feet under.

Up until 6 months ago that would have led to a response along the lines of "Excellent now we can offload all the shite he bought like Degen, Ngog and Lucas" but since we've offloaded all the shit and Lucas has finally come good I don't want him anywhere near Anfield with his chequebook

what about andy carroll?

I'd be alright with getting 15M or so for Dirk as long as it was reinvested in someone decent.

Dirks the same age as Anelka, I think its posssibly his last season for us, with Carra being shipped to backup, I think Kenny will freshen up the older players after the Seaons over .....

Abdul-Salam Bilal (born Nicolas Sebastien Anelka French pronunciation: [nik?la an?lka];) on 14 March 1979)[6]

Dirk Kuyt (Dutch pronunciation: [?d?rk ?kœy?t] ( listen); born 22 July 1980)

Ok 16 months older ;)

Working with a technical director (Leonardo) and an owner who expects 1st (seeing they are 2nd, after their 1st transfer splash), that could be quite a challenge.

TV station Al-Jazeera have reported that, after lengthy discussions between board members at the Parc des Princes over the weekend, QIA are ready to pull the trigger and turn to former Liverpool boss Benitez.

"Rafael Benitez is in Liverpool tonight having dinner with his family," said Manolo Garcia Quilon. "There is absolutely nothing going on at this time with the Paris-SG.

"Rafa insists there is nothing with PSG. He never talked to the club and he has no Paris trip in his agenda in the coming days."
