RAWK mentalists

Indeed. It was just amusing to see Brendan ask the same of those that don't share his opinion.

The thread on RAWK is gold.

A few people exposed a lot of it and we're ignored. Aqualani already featuring for us in the CL before that 30sec substitution. Roma released the contract details that negates the original post etc etc.

Best part was when Stuart Pearce knew how to stop Gerrard because he can't play as a CM, yet they go on to say Gerrard scored the winner. What game are they on about?

RAWK really hate Gerrard and Carragher. Imagine hating our best defender and best player!

Mental.

SQUAWK is the Bad AIDS of LFC fan forums.

Which is a coincidence, because that is what I hope all their members get

They think they have it all sussed and we're being fed by Sly Sports etc.

Gerrard forced Rafa out so he could play CM is another one of their theories.

I'm never sure if it was the "Times" or the "Torygraph" which once published a headline saying "Fog Over The Channel - Continent Isolated". There's more than a touch of that type of "world's wrong, we're right" attitude about these nutcases.

RAWK - we're advising all users to change passwords as there seems to be a systematic attempt to hack accounts.

A statement from LFC fansite Red and White Kop
Posted on January 7th, 2011 by Jim Boardman
We’re posting this on behalf of Red and White Kop (RAWK); it looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to have fun at the expense of the victims of a tragedy.

If you feel you can help RAWK find those responsible please get in touch with them, or contact us and we’ll pass the details onto them.

RAWK Statement on the sickening Hodgson / Hillsborough smear
Some of you may already be aware of a post made by a RAWK user yesterday which sickeningly likened Roy Hodgson to Hillsborough. There were two attempts to make this post, both were removed immediately by the site staff and the user was banned from the site indefinitely. Despite this screenshots of the offending post soon started appearing all over other fansites, Facebook and Twitter with accompanying opprobrium. The user involved being traced and having his home address details published along with various threats.

The user has protested his innocence and as a result we have spent a considerable amount of time looking into what happened. We are continuing to investigate but it appears that the offending post put on RAWK in very suspicious circumstances, from IP addresses not normally associated with this users account, these IP addresses have been logged. It seems probable that the user has had his personal details breached by a third party and these were then used by the same third party to make the posts on here.

The post was removed within minutes of it appearing online on RAWK. The opportunity to get a screen grab of the piece was extremely limited, and it’s rapid dispersal through Twitter is both disappointing and unusual. As investigations stand the earliest posting of the screenshots are within an hour of the event taking place when they were posted on Red Cafe at 3.30pm yesterday. The RAWK moderators are taking this issue very seriously and are working with the user to assist him in his attempts to find out how his account was breached. Given the level of personal abuse and threats that this individual has received, the site will also comply with any requests from the police regarding this issue.

For the sake of the user himself and in order to try and protect all the good work done by members of the various Hillsborough campaign groups we would urge that if you see the ‘Hillsborough’ smear being repeated on Twitter or any other media please forward this message to the offending site or individual.

There is further discussion on this here. We would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has found references to the screenshots or the posts from earlier than 3.30pm yesterday.

RAWK Currently down for emegency maintenance as we investigate the smear attacks of the last few days. Apologies all.

Mods best keep an eye out here?

Looks like some fuckers posting bad shite on RAWK about Hillsborough on hacked accounts and pretending its Liverpool fans saying it, Red Cafe have been linking, but I am not saying they are involved, I wonder if thier Mods have deleted the offensive material?

Its all true I tell ta..

to be fair, it does make for a good read and could be plausible. However, the massive pro-Rafa bias is a bit much

Mutterings of discontent on RAWK due to half the transfer threads being locked down. Here's a mod reply (what the fuck is a red star mod? Why haven't we got one?).......

The twitter topic was not locked because of its source. The twitter topic was locked because it descending into bickering and abuse and no one was discussing transfer rumours. If you started another topic, and it stayed on topic it would be unlikely to be locked.

At the risk of sounding like I am being accompanied by violins, the transfer forum mods are implementing the policy of the red star mods. They believe that RAWK should have higher standards than most forums. The transfer forum was originally implemented to try and keep the main board free from transfer stuff. In previous years though, there was the perception that the transfer forum was dragging down the quality of the site. Hence the rigorous source rules. The current arrangement is a compromise that the red star mods would allow. In previous years there has been serious discussion about closing the transfer forum in its entirety. If you want a relaxation of the transfer forum rules, then I would suggest raising it in the Feedback forum. Until the senior mods instruct otherwise, I am sticking with the only following order excuse.

Those guys could just walk into a totalitarian regime and run it without thinking. Their will to exercise utter control over their community is almost admirable in its demented rigour.

To qualify you have to be of communist decent, d=from the way its run it is like a communist state.

I wanna be a red star mod.

TBH, when your site is as immensely popular as that you'd simply have to implement some severe & consistent forum rules about where posts go, otherwise chaos would reign.
