Ha, fair point.

Kinda makes more sense though, I think you've gotta like cars to like F1, your car tells me your definitely not into your cars.

I'm with Brendan and Pesam.

The Driver's Chmpionship is the ultimate sporting paradox. In theory the person who is best at drving wins yet in reality the races are decided by what happens when the cars are stopped in the pits. Absurd

F1 is shite.

by your logic, the team with all the best footballers should win every game and coaches and managers should have no impact...

[/quote]Yes. If I, a 17 year old with no great commitments and all the time in the world can go cycling at the drop of a hat, why cant you single parents, cancer sufferers, 2 job working shirking cunts etc? Lazy thats why. My life being about as difficult as a person could face and all.

It's a toss-up which is dullest, my taste in cars or my taste in clothes - I think I hit middle-age around about 24.

Not really.

I deliberately ued the terms "Driver's Championship" (that would be the players in your analogy).

There's also a "Constructors Championship" for the mechanics (the managers and coaches in your analogy).

You tell him Oncy.

Hamilton 5th on the grid today, I'd expect a podium finish if all goes to plan. The other cars now are getting upto speed with the new diffuser work, so it wont be long until the better drivers start shining through.
