We certainly have performed very well away from home but by and large have been rubbish at home. Very interesting few weeks coming up.

Don't forget we had our defeat after European football on a Thursday so that will play a role.

If Hendo and Studge stay fit we certainly have a shot at top 4.

We need to play to the same level against weaker sides

Hopefully we can start to play better at home and turn some of these draws into wins now.

That's the big question now, isn't it? The team now believes they can outwork anyone, so they don't have any more fear of playing away from home. But we will need a different skill set to win at home – clinical finishing from half-chances, starting strong and scoring early, improving our threat from set-plays, learning not to lump the ball into Benteke when he's playing...

Yep. His basic mistake was that he tried to get the side to run before it could walk - you have to get to a sufficiently high level yourselves to earn the right to inflict "death by football" on other teams, but he tried to bring it in straight away.

We were 25/1 to win the league at the start of the season; the biggest price we went to was about 80/1, we were 65/1 after the defeat to Palace and we're about 14/1 now.

It's a load of bollocks anyway, unless you have the gigantic wages and transfer budget of teams like Bayern, Real and Barcelona, plus a manager like Guardiola.

Rodgers' cut-price attempts were always doomed to failure, given that our Xavi was Joe fucking Allen and he's a Netto version of Guardiola.

We played lovely, often harmless possession football under Roy Evans too, and that didn't work either.

It is more than a little misleading though because Stoke will finish in the Top 10 and Chelsea the Top 6 at the very least (and of course they are still Chelsea + Mourinho despite their poor start).
Palace and West Ham are not contenders for anything so dropping 3 pts to them may hurt but they aren't direct competitors for the Euro places. However we have taken points off of all the true contenders bar United .. and all away from home .. so none of them were able to gain points on us and all have to come to Anfield.
