I think the remarkable thing about Maxi (apart from how great a footballer he is) is that apart from a bit of rustiness and the odd bad pass, he doesnt miss a beat when hes been made to sit down for game after game. He comes in links up beautiful with all the clever footballers we have and scores goals.
Id be suprised if any player (aside from Messi and Ronaldo) has a better goals per starts stat this calender year.

I like him because he's an intelligent footballer and he seems to just keep his head down and get on with it - no wining to the press.
