Not really skewed per se, is it though? There's nothing to say a team can have only one such player. Good on us for spotting both, accommodating both and getting them to fulfil their potential.

Exactly. And it also suggests to the world that much as Suarez makes us a more potent team, we're no one man team, as some would have it. Indeed, it is comforting when Suarez's future carries continuing question marks, that the world might not fall on our heads without him.

[article=http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/how-long-take-premier-league-3420725?]According to Premier League records, clubs that fail to re-qualify for Champions League football take an average of six-and-a-half years to rejoin Europe's top table. This makes for uncomfortable reading for United fans, who have no hope of qualification this time around, and is sure to up the ante for the Gunners' run-in for fourth spot against the Toffees.

But it would be a blessing if he were out for the rest of the season.

It also suggests that Suarez makes hay whilst the sun shines.

Doesn't it?

But I'd like to see something similar done for assists. It might be that Suarez plays deeper when we're losing/drawing and pushes up to the last man when we're ahead.

But it seems irrefutable that Sturridge is very important when the chips are down and that the weird image some people have of him is unjustified.

Raheem Sterling has completed 74 take-ons in the Premier League this season, more than any other English player.

Liverpool have scored 2+ goals in their last 10 PL games. Only two sides (Man City & Spurs) have gone on longer runs in PL history.

1540 - Morgan Schneiderlin has completed more passes than any other French player in the major European leagues this season.

Lionel Messi has had one shot on target in his last 274 minutes with Barcelona in all competitions.
