For anyone that hasn’t followed this - in Feb 2020, 25 year old unarmed black jogger (Ahmaud Arbery) was shot and killed in Georgia by white former police officer (Gregory McMichael) and his son (Travis McMichael).
The McMichaels claimed Arbery looked like someone they suspected of local burglaries. They claimed Arbery attacked them so they shot him.
The Prosecutor decided there was no probable cause to arrest the McMichaels as they were legally carrying guns, had a right to pursue a burglary suspect and use deadly force to protect themselves.
