The mental state of players

We can look at teams past and present who have been successful with old players, and not seen a huge fall off of form.
The players' bodily language tells you that they've hit some kind of mental block. I am confident with new player introduction things will change that's not gonna happen till the summer. I'd like to know if you think there is a rift within the camp or if not what's causing the mental fatigue, and despondent, and defeatest bodily language?
Or is it the case Klopp didn't anticipate the loss of Mane (who earns €24m at Bayern) could have on a team? We have seen how one player just changes a team from the middle of the pack to race leaders.

Exhaustion + some players too old for heaven metal football anymore.

We’ll be right up there next season.

Players who've had the biggest drop-off of form,
Fabs
Trent
VVD
Hendo
Robbo
Gomez

Which one of those above are too old for our system?

All apart from Trent. Robbo and Virgil get a season pass if they quit international football.

Players aren't robots, they breathe the same air we do....the muscles in their body are made up of thousands of fibres which are connected to tissues, just like ours.

Stamina of the players are very low, it's like asking Mo Farah to win the half marathon in 10 years time....not gonna happen he would probably finish 10th.

Salah Hendo Fab Virg Robbo Trent have played 7 YEARS of high intensity football, their energy sapped.....you can't keep a squad together for 7 years and start asking questions on the 7th year why the players can't play like before.

We would've never had this shit season if we didn't rest on our laurels and went out and refreshed the squad....our inactivity the past 4-5 years has caught up with us, now we have to suffer the consequences and ensure history doesn't repeat itself.

Virg joined in 2018, Robbo 2017 but I am not disagreeing with you, there's an element of that. However, these aren't players over their 30s say other than VVD and Hendo. We run far less this year, the previous, we press the opposition far less and yet we still play the Highline. Its really all muddled.

Why are they exhausted?

Because they played every possible game available last season and came within 15 mins of a treble and another 45 of an unprecedented quadruple. To lose both major trophies like that would shatter anyone but physically and mentally.

Virg still played near enough every game possible in that half season he joined + another 5 years non-stop is a lot, factor in those 5 years he needed 1 year to recover. Hendo joined in 2011 and a few years under Rodgers was high intensity too, so he must be flat out.

Matip is 31. Thiago is 31. Salah is 30. Fab & Robbo both 29. Milner must be approaching the centurion mark.

It's an old fucking team like.
