Ha, a gem. He'd have more shots than Suarez. We'd be tearing our hair out looking at him. When was the last time he was a definite Spurs starter, I can barely remember. No way!!
 
Ekotto, Defoe and Adebayor would all have something to offer at this level so long as the price and wages were right, but neither of them should be priority or expensive signings.

Squad players are not as difficult to find. What we need are players who can push us to the next level and convert most of those 13 draws last season into victories.
 
Even if they had a castoff who would improve us, just the thought that we are after Tottenham rejects is too depressing to contemplate. So No.

I got no problems with that - it's just that Spurs are letting go of all those players for good reason.
 
Stoke are releasing titus bramble - some of you guys ( not necessarily the guys that have posted in this thread) were absolutely salivating at the prospects of bramble joining. Defoe if he were to join ( and that is unlikely) would only join as a squad player but what would be guaranteed is that he would be more effective than borini!
