    How, may I ask?

We are one of the richest teams currently, have a huge new shirt/sponsorship deal coming through, are growing as a ‘brand’ exponentially against others, have a sleeping giant fan base from our most successful period who still lookout for us, have an enviable ‘profile’ for world focused marketing for players, have one of the best managers for player improvement, a team of genuine top tier standards, a vocal and loyal fan base. We are in the process of getting back to being genuinely in the top tier of attractive teams in the world. We can, within reason, compete with most teams out there.

The only difference is we are not financially doping cheating cunts and they’re the ones we’d need to be wary of...

Don't think it's about how rich we are, it's more about policy. We don't make those types of signings unless it's very obvious that we're getting a world class player

Athletico were always going to have to spend big money this summer whether on a single player or multiple players.
They sold around 200m and had quiet a few exits, in need of a big refresh. Will be a massive gain if they can get Felix to fit under Simeone where many other highly technical players have previously failed.

Whilst I don't think that is true, if Salah has another season like the last couple it is inevitable Real Madrid will come knocking and that would finance those two.

It's not just the transfer fee. It's the wages and agent fees. Also we need a definite starting spot if we are going to spend over a hundred. So it is only feasible when Salah goes. Hopefully Real is still interested then

We quoted real 200 million for mane in the summer. Another poor season for them this season and they will be back with the money

For all the money (we have?) after 2 champions league final, the only time we have spent big is when we have sold a player.

In terms of commercial revenue we are still miles behind the likes of Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Does nobody bother to check before arguing?

We are the seventh* richest team in the modern game, a position which looks likely to improve whilst the other English teams fall off. We are in rude health.

Once you take out the petroid clubs we are really fifth as it’s been shown that their books are cooked and not a real value.

Stronger pound we'd be richer than PSG

Once we finish operation ‘clear the dross’ we’ll be even better. The book value and wages off the totals then it’ll look even better. The real value of losing Lallana, Loveren, Clyne, possibly Shaqiri & Milner (sadly) is massive and clears a lot of assets and liabilities.

We are in a very good place for next year. The only problem will be convincing players to join and fight for the first team.

An amazing job is being done. We’re streamlined, generating significantly and using incentive based contracts.

Umm. Does nobody even read their own reports before posting?

It says the majority of our revenue is from broadcast. Meaning if we don't keep getting into the CL finals this goes away.

Commercial revenue is way behind the big three English clubs. (City Utd Chelsea)

Our matchday revenue is also not great given the lower capacity of Anfield (but still higher than City )

At the same time or owners are poorer than Everton, Arsenal, Spurs, and many 'non petrol' clubs. We are some way off affording the same goodies as other big English clubs though we'll get there

How did Everton, Newcastle and West Ham get so rich by doing nothing?

Our revenue is 2.5X that of Everton. Everton's owner is an Arab, and so will spend. Our owner is Yank and see's the Club as a Business and will only spend within the club's means.

Everton is crazy. Their wages for 2018 are 77% of revenue, almost the highest in the league.

BTW Moshiri is Iranian, the ancient enemy of the Arabs.

Would they want Salah or Mane though ? Either way I'm sure we'd get another season before selling. They are both on new contracts.
