I dont actually see what he did too wrong yesterday and thought he did just that in attacking their defence.

Didn't do much wrong? What about the pathetic attempt at a tackle for their 2nd goal? If you can't get the ball fairly in those circumstances then you take one for the team, bring him down and accept the yellow card.

That's one of the characteristics of this bad run, we have stopped making tackles all over the pitch and are far too nice. Wolves had no problem in stopping our flow with late tackles or dragging us down yet we let their one guy run nearly the length of the pitch without a single challenge, fucking appalling at any level.

Moreno can't tackle, but he was the only player with the pace to even get near enough to make one.

Lucas was abject as usual and Gomez was also atrocious. Just because Moreno is everyone's favourite whipping boy shouldn't disguise how shit those two were

Didn't Spurs and Chelsea make up to 10 changes yesterday? Sounds really simplistic but think yesterday just shows we don't have anywhere near good enough a squad at the min.

Let's see now - he at least attempted to do a tackle - ok so he missed. But given the player he is and his reputation (most of it justified) - say he did 'take one' for the team and it resulted him in a yellow card ( maybe a red ? - I don't know the position of the others) - then let us say they gain a free kick and from that free kick they get a third goal. What then ? - do you all then say 'Moreno the useless cunt' - it was all his fault for giving away that free kick etc. etc. - it is really no win situation for him in that instance.

We lost to Soton in a semifinale... margins not on our side but we gave it a real go. We have to accept it can happen. The stinker here is the Wolves game... I believe some of the players let the manager down.... but he has held his hands up and taken the bladet for it. Fair enough. Now focus on next game!!
