I know there is a betting forum but I think this will have more interest here.

What bets have people put on?

I've got 8.

I've hung my hat on Argentina or Spain to win and one of Messi, Ageuro, Kane or Costa to be top scorer.

Costa with a good start.
 
Tenner on France to win the tournament. Had a quid on Egypt, Morroco and Spain today, guh.

Griezmann top scorer @ 12/1
Kane top scorer @ 16/1
France to win Tournament & Griezmann top scorer @ 40/1
France to win Tournament & Kane top scorer @ 125/1

Decent sized bets on all. If the last one comes in then I'm laughing.
 
With today’s results, including both teams scoring tonight, I’ve turned my initial £10 deposit into £37.06. Tomorrow I’ve put £20 on Portugal (4/6), Uruguay (1/5) and Spain (1/6). Returns about £46 if it comes off.
 
I'm going for a goal fest tomorrow I think.

Uruguay to score 3 or more, Portugal to score 3 or more, Spain to score 2 or more.

That treble pays 8.31/1 on Paddy Power.

Only other way of getting value I can see would be going all in on the favourites just to try to double it cos their odds are so low & having seen some of these shock results so far just doesn't seem worth throwing all my wager money at it.

It's the early kick off that worries me.

Morocco could turn up & the early kick off games haven't seen teams play so well at all.
 
Paddy Power have 35/1 on all games tomorrow having 3.5 or more goals.

Considering the games that's not actually unthinkable. Worth a quid imo.

That’s a great bet. I’ve done the same on BetFred but at 2.5 goals per game. Odds a lot shorter but still great value. Cheers Jon!

5.7/1...which given that I’ve gone for only 2.5 or more goals for those three games is still decent value. As well as the £20 treble I’ve got on the three big teams to win tomorrow I’ve put my £7.06 on this goals per game bet...so even if I lose I’m just back down to the £10 I started with.

Next March mate, 10 of us going for a week. 26th March I think we fly out.

Paid for the flights and hotel with my winnings, now just need the 3K spending money :)
