How do you even begin to comprehend what this guy saw?

Since he's been signed by LFC, he has been loaned to 3 different teams in 3 different leagues and never showed anything more than fleeting flashes of quality. At least not enough for any of these teams to want to make a serious offer for him (even on loan).

Didn’t he have a run of games back in Portugal on loan where he was shit and was booed by his own supporters?
We were conned big time and he may well be crap in Italy or any other league.

Hes had spells in Turkey and Portugal since joining us. He was shite in both. Hes just not a good player. £20m for him is an astonishingly poor piece of business, probably Andy Caroll is the only worse signing I can think of
 
lads, did you not hear? he has a twin Marc, and they did a switch. Lazar is laughing it up in the restaurants of Dubrovnic every weekend, and his brother gets half the pay playing on his behalf as part of the deal. FIFA are investigating.
 
Klopp's own assistant manager is a Serbian and Markovic can't even get a sniff, he is beyond redemption.

Italy places a lot of emphasis on tactical acumen in players – don't see much of that in Markovic so far. His best chance is probably Germany – they do have some quick kick-and-run merchants achieving success in previous years.
 
Didn’t someone offer real cash money in the summer but we were asking for 15 m or something? I might have dreamed that.
