Weren't you shouting that Ballotelli,Borini and Lambert were all shit about 15 minutes ago?

I think Fabs is gonna pop up soon and ask most of us to suck his dick.

Fabio, Balotelli upfront seems like the right way to go until Sturridge is back. Poor the Lambert.

Was good to see Borini in action again.

For a while there I'd forgot to include him in my list of BR's shite signings. Not anymore.

Balotelli and Borini and both ninja type strikers – staying invisible and looking for their moment rather than trying to help their teammates with the build-up of the attack. Playing both of them at the same time can result in a lack of creativity. Lambert is the only striker we have who knows how to lead the line properly – if only he would start scoring...

Agreed. I missed the game last night, but I thought Lambert played pretty well against Hull though. He is SO slow but.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli found the net in Liverpool's 2-1 Capital One Cup win over Swansea, but is embroiled in a new row after appearing to flick Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey’s ear as they argued after the final whistle.

Wtf it's not like he drop kicked him. Fookin tabloids.

Not enough meat in the ear for Suarez though. He likes the fleshy parts - shoulder, arm, ...

It'd go something like this..

Liverpool striker luis Suarez found the net in Liverpool's 2-1 Capital One Cup win over Swansea, but is embroiled in a new row after appearing to eat Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey’s left thigh as they argued after the final whistle, he was heard shouting 'where's the fucking salt". Suarez is looking at a 5 game ban.

BR " Mario, you're shit. Be more like Suarez"
Balo " okay boss"
Mario Assaults Shelvey
The end.

Borini was adequate against an average Swansea team that have struggled to win over the last two months. He didn't score and didn't look likely to. The cross was boss and so I'm cutting him some slack.

We need Couthino to man up and Markovich to remember he's ace.

I'd like to see Borini get a run.

He is hungry to prove himself at Liverpool and he did well against Swansea.

The urgency he shows in his play is exactly what we need right now.

Give him a run Rodgers ... you wanted Henderson out and he proved you wrong, maybe Fabio can do likewise.

Pitiful angling for a Fabio 'Like'.

To be fair I've said this after Mario said he preferred to play alongside another striker and fabio also said he would like to team up with Mario. Why hadn't Mr Rogers tried this earlier.
Even if these two work out, I'm still maintaining we avoid Italians

Borini in a front two gives the team an energy to press high. It's a partial replacement of the work Suarez was so adept at. We should persist with it. It will take some pressure off of Sterling and allow him a freer role.

I feel somewhat dirty having a foray into tactics and team selection.

In fairness, I don't think Borini's attitude has ever been in doubt. He always tries his best.

Unfortunately he's usually just shit.
