Now the season is starting to take shape, it’s probably time to have a thread for POTS.

Salah took first place against Man U, Gravenberch second and Diaz third.

Salah is in the lead after 3 games, with 2 man of the match wins. Gravenberch is second with three runner up slots. Diaz has a win and a third place. Fourth place is Trent with two third places. The rest are tied 5th.

Salah - 10 points
Gravenberch - 9 points
Diaz - 6 points
Alexander-Arnold - 2 points

Following Forest at home last week, Gravenberch moves into 1st place. Salah is second and van Dijk is 3rd.

Obviously points for Milan and Bournemouth still to come, but it feels like the top 3 players so far this season have been Diaz, Grav and Ibu.

After 5 matches, up to and including Milan, the POTS table is taking shape.

1. Gravenberch - 17 points
2. Salah - 10
3. Diaz - 6
4. Van Dijk - 5
5. Gakpo - 3
6. Alexander-Arnold - 2
7. Szoboszlai - 1

Harsh on Ibu; he’s been in or around my top 3 pretty much in every game so far.
Noting vs Ipswich (only 45 played), Brentford 4th, Man U 4th, Forest 3rd, Milan 4th so he is up there but just outside the points most of the time.

Following the Bournemouth game, Diaz closes the gap to Gravenberch who remains the front runner.

The West Ham game had little impact on the POTS awards which wasn’t unexpected considering the side that was put out. Jones getting a 3rd place means we now have a top 10 as he joins Szoboszlai with 1 point.

Gravenberch takes MOM from the Wolves game. He still leads the race, Diaz and Salah remain 2nd and 3rd respectively. Van Dijk closes the gap to Salah.

Gravy isn't just leading - he's destroying it ! At this rate we can give him the trophy in January !

Following the Bologna game, Gravenberch extends his lead and Salah leapfrogs Diaz into second place.

More changes at the top after the 1-0 victory away at Palace.

Gravenberch (33) has a 19 point lead over van Dijk (14) who moved above Salah (13).

Sounds about right. Gravenberch has been a shining star, but so has Van Dijk. Salah less consistent, but made a decisive contribution in several games already.

Following wins against Chelsea and Leipzig we now have 14 players who have points on the board. Jones flies up the table with MOM against Chelsea. Salah increases his gap to remain in the top 3. Gravenberch still remains on course to win the POTS award but it is a marathon and not a sprint.

After a triple header of Arsenal, Brighton and Brighton, there’s not been much change in the table. Gravy still ahead. Van Dijk and Salah edge closer to Gravenberch as Kelleher closes the gap to Gakpo as does Konate.

I think Macca's been a consistent 7/10 from what I've seen? Apart from the last game where he was shit, apparently - didn't watch that

Obviously not great and we should expect more but hard to say he's been a problem

After Leverkusen and Villa Salah overtakes Virgil to move up to 2nd place whilst gaining some points on Gravenberch.

Konate must be moving up the table too now that his MOTM performances are finally being recognized. He’s right up there with Virgil IMO; not much to choose between them.

Only Diaz and Gravenberch have more MOTM performances.

Over the past few weeks we finally got every first teamer in the points.

Mo has closed the gap on Gravenberch, as does van Dijk.
