it's over ... tbh, i didn't really expect South Africa to get past this stage - we're not a very good 20/20 team.

Brilliant performance by England all round. KP's performance gave them the platform, but great fielding and good bowling gave the Saffers no hope, who were properly humbled there.

Sri lanka
England
look the best teams
strange how lacklustre the sub cont teams have looked.
I fancy Oz strongly tbh.

Sri Lanka especially - they've not even come close to what they're capable of imo ... and India, well their bowling has always been up n' down.

South Africa - I can't admit to following this long term but if their players played as well as they play in the Indian 20/20 league, they'd do well but I just don't think it ever clicks in the green/gold colors. Oh well.

I wouldn't be surprised if England take it.

[/quote]We pasted the WIndies in our first game for 180 or something. I dont think we should fear anyone. Australia look massive massive favourites on this form, but weve got a chance here.
Even if we dont win, its a massive move forward for the ecb. To go out and select what is in effect a concept squad, picked solely for their 20/20 prowess is such a breath of fresh air. If this had been a year ago our team would have been Cook, Strauss, Collingwood, Pieterson, Shah, Bopara, Prior, Anderson etc etc to go and stick your nuts on the chopper with the likes of Kiesweter and Morgan is fantastic. I really have hope for us in the shorter forms with this attitude.
