With just one week to go until the opening race of the season, how do people think the season will unfold?

will it be 4 in a row for Vettel and Redbull.

Looking forward to the new season, right now it's so hard to tell who is the dominant force. There were some quick laps by all the teams and of course some may have been sandbagging. No doubt the last testing session won't have seen teams with their full Melbourne spec cars. Mercedes look to have improved greatly and with Lewis there they will get podium places, I think where they fall down is the race by race development.

Can't honestly predict who will win the drivers and constructors championship.
Way too close to call and with these new Pirelli tyres degrading more than last years I wouldn't be surprised to see different winners for the first 7 races or so.

I have free tickets for this weekend and it took me 3 days of messaging to find someone who wanted to take them.

F1 is complete balls.

Fucking cars have just starting practising - so bloody loud, pain in the arse for the next 4 days.

I've said no to 2 corporate tickets so far... and haven't even got to the Boag's invite yet.

I've started watching again the last few years, since Hamilton came on the scene. He's fucking great, would love to see him win it again.

I'm very anti-Hamilton.

Webber has been my favourite driver for years, and pre MacLacen I was a Button fan (especially at B.A.R) so might switch my focus back to Button this season now that Lewis has jumped ship.

Yeah there do seem to be a fair few Hamilton haters. Never quite got why someone would prefer a man without charisma in Button to one of the most charismatic men in sport, but each to their own I suppose! Guess I can't resist a bit of glamour: the guy's a star.

I initially found him a bit arrogant and then didn't like the incident where he lied to a steward in a practice/qualifying a couple of years ago so went from being in different to disliking him. I'd like Paul DiResta to do well too, nice guy!

I agree that he is a phenomenal racer too - I just don't support him. Am looking forward to my upcoming weekend routine of:

Saturday: AM - Rowing. PM - On sofa watching qualifying before streaming a liverpool game.
Sunday: AM - Rowing. PM - On sofa watching race

Thaaaaaaaaank fuuuuuuuuuuck F1 is back. It's like the bloody football close season without it.
I'm expecting the top 3 cars to be the redbull, merc and ferrari. I'm expecting mclaren to go backwards a little, especially as they've got that boring cnut button driving, maybe lotus to do a bit better (as they've got the awesome kimi).
I really would love luis to be up there, or thereabouts this season. An ideal battle for me would be luis, alonso (cnut) and kimi going against each other for the title, they are all brilliant, aggressive drivers. Vettel, although very good, has been found out at times when then redbull hasn't been on it, he's not got the balls to win like the other 3.

Up at 5.50 to watch this. Kids still asleep, only problem is I stupidly forgot to charge the wireless headphones, so I'm listening to a very very quiet race in order to preserve some peace whilst I do so!

Oh & why the fuck haven't we got hd cameras on the cars?!

They tested them last season. F1 has more money than fucking nasa, get it sorted you cunts.

The cockpit view is an incredible experience, to see it in HD would be amazing.

The teams currently have no idea what the tyres are going to do, making it all a bit of a gamble. Sutil doing very well.

Mufflers for those fucking engines would be nice too.

Well my sky box ballsed up the qualifying on saturday morning, and the reply, lucky for me that it was postponed. I now have to record the next 2 or 3 programs after qualifying/the race so I don't miss it.

As for the race, I thought Kimi drove very well, and looked after those tyres. I think if he'd 3 stopped it he'd been nowhere near, but fair play.
Was expecting the season to be service as normal regards to redbull and ferrari, but was good to see Hamilton finish 5th on his first race in car that wasn't competitive at all last year.
Mclaren look fucked.

Strange Qually today, Vetel looked all over the place at times, and Rosberg and Hamilton looked great. Not putting a new set of boots cost those pair dear though, I think if they'd have gone in for some they'd have both been on the front row.
Massa keeps shoeing the caterpillar eyebrowed alonso which I find most amusing. Fair play, I thought massa might be finished at Ferrari this season.

I've never liked Vettel the cunt, but this weekend has just solidified the fact. Lowlife little shit. 'lets both turn our cars down to engine management mode, you go first'.

Unethically?

Teams telling sportsmen not to try to win because of money, that's unethical.

I thought yesterday was a pretty good race, the tyre situation is a bit of a farce with the softs only lasting 5laps, but it effects everyone the same way and even jenson 'no tyre damage' button struggled with his stint on them.
I'm pleased Vettel didn't win for a change, and even though I'm not a huge fan of Alonso, he drove well and deserved it.
Bit gutted for Luis as I had high hopes that he could carry his qualifying pace into the race but it wasn't to be.
Kimi excellent as usual.

i think you have to add vettel to make it the best 4.

also in the right conditions with the right car Jenson is up there but nowhere near being up there if its not the right conditions, car etc.

hamilton who i dont like may be the out and out quickest driver.

I'm the same, don't like Hamilton at all but talent wise I suspect he may be the most natural racer in F1.

He's arguably in the wrong era though, as teams don't really want racers who go all out for the win, but consistent drivers instead.
