I'm away for 5 days either side of the weekend and won't be online much so won't be able to check team news etc so I'm just gonna have to rely on Rangers again. In fairness whatever 11 they pick they SHOULD be way too strong for Livingston.....I hope.

Thanks Gerry. I need to spot another team "ahead of the curve" like Rangers before the price on them gets prohibitive. If Rangers win on Saturday it will buy me a bit of time to find some other "certainty". Derby have a very good squad and have just signed 2 excellent midfielders Butterfield and Johnson and their form will soon pick up in a big way IMO so I'm hoping I'll make some money outta them if I can spot the right fixtures.
You seem to be putting the full bank on it quite a lot, would it be a good idea to only put on say, the 60 quid that you're ahead by, just to have a fall back? Otherwise you could be gone quite abruptly...
Yeah betting the full bank each time is gonna wipe me out sooner rather than later but there are a couple of reasons why I've started like this...
1. Keeping up with the target is hugely difficult and risks need to be taken so I decided to take a few big risks early on so as to get a decent bit ahead of the target and therefore buy myself a bit of thinking time and wait for better "certainties" to come up.
2. I knew Rangers would be far too good for the league they're in and IMO they should have been about 1/20 for their last 2 home games instead of 1/5 and 1/7. IMO their last 2 home games were probably the biggest certainties I'll have all season so deserved the full bank bet.
3. I was away last weekend and couldn't check the team news 30 minutes before kick off as usual on Saturday for the 3pm kick offs so needed one big bet I could rely on and, as mentioned, I knew Rangers would prevail.
I doubt I'll do another 100% bank bet this season until I run into trouble in which case I may need to do one "all or nothing" bet to get back on track.
I'm struggling to find something worth backing this weekend although I'm stupidly thinking of £12 on LFC to beat Norwich to win £8.
Normally I don't like doing this.....claiming I did a bet after it came up but as I placed the bet; £29 lay of the 1-0 scoreline between Celta Vigo and Barca Iago Aspas just scored a wonderful 2nd for Celta.....watch it in 15 minutes at half time, it was a fantastic finish.

Nah 90 minutes unfortunately. It's my first serious setback on this challenge. My theory was that we surely could puncture the worst defence in the lowest division enough times to secure victory :-(
Bank at £166 after 4th week against a target of £132.
I watched most of the game and they weren't the same Barca that we've got used to over the last 10 years or so. Celta were much the better team and Messi, Neymar and Suarez looked very ordinary!
Last minute decision to fly to Dublin for a party tomorrow night so I doubt I'll be in much state at any stage tomorrow to get my bets done so...................£66 Man Utd to beat Sunderland to win £16. Not much downside to this bet as even if it loses it means United have fucked up 🙂
