I'm being unapologetically annoying here... have a friend heading up to take in his first Liverpool game after exploring the Lake district. He's sounder than I am really, and certainly more interesting.

Anyway. I made him into a liverpool supporter during college, his only other allegiance being Independiente in Argentina... he grew up in uruguay.

He once injured me by beating me with a frozen corn stalk with the husks attached. That's basically his biography.

Anyhow. He's looking at the shit tickets you get from the low tier hospitality, and I told him they are fucking awful, because they are. Then he's looking at stubhub et al. Are they actually legitimate? I don't really know how it works anymore, as it used to be so much easier to use someone's season tickets, and it appears they put a stop to that?

Can anyone advise. Or you know, allow me to be a hero.

I've bought tickets via viagogo etc and they're fine - it's not 'great' seats but you're there, you sing, you're happy.

It's such a massive pain in the arse now, and I usually only find out about spares on the day now, and that's getting less and less as you need your phone to have the season ticket on it. I've put my ticket on a seperate phone now just for this purpose, but most people haven't, hence the lack of spares.

It's a load of bollocks. There is a weird way around it so I'll ask around.
