Wheat beat and continental lagers for me after growing up as a 'mixed' drinker in the North Riding of Yorkshire (Tadcaster)

Lefe / Edinger / Hoegaarden are all easily available in the UK

Warsteiner / Veltins/ Stern were favourites when in the Ruhr, and any number of Kolschs

I do like Spanish/portugese lagers when out there but theUK brewed versions are very average.
