[article]Bobby Duncan has ditched the agent who helped force his move out of Liverpool last year.[/article]
Dumb twat of an agent (Saif Rubie) cost him a potential career here ... What a waste:
[article]The forward has yet to make an appearance for the Fiorentina first team but has scored four times in nine appearances for their under-19 side, although his last goal came in October. He is now expected to pursue a loan move this month in order to gain senior experience elsewhere.

Rubie, meanwhile, is currently serving a five-week ban imposed by the Football Association after being found guilty of historic improper use of social media.[/article]

As I said in another thread he has dropped from a starter to a sub to not being in the squad for the last 2-3 games.

Whether it is lack of ability, home-sickness, poor training, not fitting in the upshot is he isn't playing even U19 now.

He's clearly more suited for a job as a professional darts player with a name like Bobby Duncan.

His wiki page is interesting:

Bobby Duncan was a Scottish footballer who is most well known for playing for Hibernian. The highlight of his career was scoring a goal against Napoli in the UEFA Cup in 1967. He played club football for Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic, Hibernian and East Fife.

This is good news. Sure, I feel sorry for the kid cause in the end it's just a kid.
But in the grand scheme of things it is like I said good news. This story has been well publicised and it's now a warning to other players about certain agents and that the grass isn't always greener on the other side like it was for Sancho.
Some in the media were praising Duncan for having the "guts" to leave Liverpool and go abroad.

Is he actually any good?

He seemed another like Ben Woodburn type who shined at youth level but lacked that something extra to make the step up at senior level be it pace, exceptional skill or whatever.

Yeah he's acted like a knob - But was he very badly advised? I know the contrasting feelings such decisions can lead too. Lots of people thought I was badly advised when at 18 I listened to that suspiciously masculine honey on that balmy night on Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui back '93'. Sure, she told me it was a birth defect and not an 'laryngeal prominence' but if I had have listened to my prudish backpacker buddies I would have missed out on a night to remember. Actually thinking about it - I don't remember that much. Just waking up naked and skint with a bottle of rohypnol tucked neatly between my arse cheeks. Still - What I would say to young Bobby is - the journey is in the learning 🙂

He's sacked his agent after watching us beat the ev and realising he would have started if he'd stayed. Total dickhead.
You maybe joking, I do not know, but this is probably true, may have lost it like the Evertonians have now since that game.

Yep who didn't see this happening. He's going to end up playing non-league football.

Heartbreaking news.

Really heartbreaking.

Cunt behaves like a cunt at two top teams(and city) and look what happens.

So he wants out of a second club in 12 months because he isnt getting the first team appearances he deserves. Is there a more deluded player in football now?

I can’t see this being accepted by FIFA, at least not without a massive bung.

“Sorry Mr FIFA we bought this guy cos his agent said he was fab and everything and a cert for first team stuff. Now it turns out he’s alright but not quite first team ready so we want to bin him off without paying. That OK?”

Clearly a one off scenario

Just a very brief update. After 7 matches when he didn't even make the squad, Duncan played almost the whole game against Torino U19 last weekend. It seems no loan offers came good.

No offence but why the effort?
