If the alleged deed happened, I think the defence could be based around whether she actually told the truth about her age or not..

He has not raped her, and it seems she was game as it appears to be consensual..

This country has a huge habit of finding someone guilty before trial..

That being said if he is found guilty after trial.. then he has been a very silly boy indeed...

Well the fathers first move was to ring the police. Not the first thing I'd do if I wanted to make money. And given she can't be identified what sort of money can you make?

It's quite obvious the police tipped off the paper.

I meant he could seek compensation on her behalf from him in court if johnson is found guilty

It's statutory rape.

If one person is under the age of consent, then the consent they give is not regarded as legal consent. Obviously, as they are not old enough to decide on whether they should or not.

So it is rape.

If he met her in a over 18's nightclub, he is hardly at fault is he ?

Not a case I'd be keen to try, and I've never seen it happen.

I always think the simplest explanation is usually the right one, I find it almost impossible to believe a 15 year old hatched a plan with her father to get money from Johnson.

Its absurd

It does indeed, unfortunately saying something like that makes people assume that you sympathise with the accused, rubbish, I just want a court to decide he's guilty become condemning him, not the papers.

If anything she looks younger than 15.

He's getting bummed in the showers & rightly so (in prison, not in the Sunderland changies, I assume).

You really shouldn't be shouting so load about stuff you obviously know SFA about. It is only statutory rape if she is under 13 years old. Otherwise it is consensual sex with a minor.
 
Her social media post that set the alarm bells ringing leaves no fucking doubt in my mind.
