Agree with post

Can a feature be added so users can agree with a post rather than posting another post in agreement. (hope this makes sense!)

Like a thumbs up sign next to the post

Thanks

It's a forum not a news feed.

I agree.

Sorry, couldn't help it!

You're right though, if you agree with something, it's better to type the words & actually explain WHY you agree with it. It encourages debate. Which is what we're here for.

Nail.
Head.

Well yes, of course that's true.

But I think hmmmmm was talking about people who just quote the post and type

^^^^^^^^^ or they just type 'this'.

Which doesn't encourage debate.

Yeah, if people want to say something they will anyway.

This might also encourage lurkers to come out of the woodwork too, and ease themselves in. I remember someone saying they didn't bother posting as everything they wanted to say had already been said, at least this might give an outlet.

Without sounding like a twat.

Ok, maybe sounding like a bit of a twat, but anyway, if people cant be arsed typing out their opinion in any more detail than Yeah, or clicking a button, I don't think they belong here.

I agree with this most wholeheartedly. I do wish there was a button though so I could adequately express my agreement. Bother.
