Yeh my sentiments too, when I saw this !Fuck England
It is, of course a brilliant thing for the club to do. Quite right too. Thing is @Red rose there's slightly more to it than your post. This is a month old story and weirdly got a little swept under the carpet. LFC are not the only club to ban that fucking rag. Everton being an obvious one (the Ross Barkley comments it made as well as the general feeling on Merseyside regarding that rag) - A host of others have too. Not so overtly maybe but I have a few buddies that work in sports journalism and regularly attend pressers for most PL games (among others) - If a S*n journo is in the mix at the presser and raise their hand for a question they are generally ignored. Quite pointedly in some cases. Utd and City apparently both do. As does Newcastle. There are others too. Not just football. Rugby is another. It would be nice if the FA just acknowledged the ill feeling towards that horrid shit stain of a paper and banned them from Wembley as well. Doubtful that it would but to even raise the question as to allow them in, is (in mind anyway) fucking disgusting.
EDIT: It does beg the question... Why do the FA give a fuck if a S*n journo is banned or not?

That is very interesting. I wasn't aware of the general antipathy towards the S*n-- actually thought Man U would be up there with sucking up to that rag as it bigs up the skanks at each every opportunity (as does the Daily Mail). It is, of course a brilliant thing for the club to do. In regards to Utd - I forget the name of their fans group. You know the ones who wear the weird Norwich scarfs… Anyway those guys actually did some kind of petition or lobbying to get the rag banned. It was moderately successful in the action that the club took. My buddy told me it’s pretty cringe worthy at certain pressers. I can well imagine it too. S*n journo frantically waving his arm about trying to get a question in and then being summarily ignored. Repeatedly… 😀.That is very interesting. Just seen Piers Morgan announce he’s back at that shit rag too!

shame..
Back in the day he was the showbiz columnist for the S*n. That was before he was appointed editor of the Mirror. Then he got sacked by them for publishing photos on the front page that showed UK troops torturing Iraqi’s. Photo’s which were properly dubious and regardless utterly irresponsible for him to print. He’s a horrid cunt of a man. Then again everyone knows this. I once met Rick Sky (I think that was his name) Does anyone remember him? He told me a ton of stuff about Piers…. The long and short of it is he’s a complete self serving wanker.Ex Mirror though wasn’t he?
