Annie Road update

Whoever put a timeframe of August 2023 needs to be sacked, clearly never observed the amount of work that had to be done before saying when it could be completed by. Not that annoyed tbh, rather they took their time and made sure everything square inch was inspected, double triple inspected to perfection. If they can get it ready by start of next season then great.

You'd assume that people involved in the timelines were involved in the Main Stand and probably did have a view on realistic timelines.

Our CEO Billy Hogan recently provided an update on the Anfield Road Stand project. You can watch or read the update here. Sadly, the update confirms that the Upper Tier of the Anfield Road stand is now not expected to be operational until the start of 2024.

We are extremely sorry to tell you this means that as you bought a ticket in the Upper Anfield Road for one or more of the following upcoming Liverpool FC fixtures, we have had to cancel your tickets for those matches:

Liverpool FC v Nottingham Forest 29 October 2023
Liverpool FC v Brentford 12 November 2023
Liverpool FC v Fulham 3 December 2023
Liverpool FC v Manchester United 16 December 2023
Liverpool FC v Arsenal 23 December 2023
Liverpool FC v Newcastle United 30 December 2023

As we have sold seats throughout the stadium in good faith for the above fixtures, and now must operate within a restricted capacity, we are not able to automatically relocate affected ticket holders to other areas of the ground. We understand how disappointing this will be and we are incredibly sorry.

You will be given a full refund for your match ticket(s) within the next 10 days and will retain the match credit(s) even though the ticket has been cancelled. You can read our Refund FAQs for more information.

Ticket returns

As we did with the Everton fixture, we are cutting allocations and working hard to get as many tickets back into the Ticket Exchange as possible from other ticket holders who may not now be able to attend the fixture. We will be ringfencing returned tickets for supporters who have had their seats cancelled but at this stage cannot confirm how many we will have. To help us understand if you would still like to attend the match if tickets become available, please register your interest here by the following dates:

For Liverpool FC v Nottingham Forest please register by 8am on Weds 25 October
For the fixtures versus Brentford, Fulham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United please register by 8am on 1st November

We are hugely appreciative of the commitment and loyalty of our supporters and apologise again for this deeply disappointing situation.

Liverpool FC

Just to be clear, we want the upper tier to be open so someone can drop turds on the United fans in the lower tier as per usual, right? We don't want the United fans to miss out on the authentic Anfield experience.
thought our weapon of choice was coins in a pint pot?

I made so much money at the FA Cup in 2006. Coin raining down on me in the main stand from the away fans who got the entire Annie Road end.

I thought the capacity with the new stand would be bumped up to 61000?

Its far from being resolved @Brizzle
Have a look at the website, for season ticket holders, their NFC pass thing has been a total mess for months
