Antoine Semenyo

IF we do buy someone, we'll buy some highly thought of winger playing for a decentish side in either france or germany

We're not gonna spunk 65m when we're fucked at CB as well

Antoine Semenyo has agreed personal terms over a January move to Liverpool.

Manchester City and Manchester United are also keen on the Ghana international but he is believed to favour a move to Anfield.

Yeah just read that buried at the bottom of their article about Isak. Looks like its a go then.

Think we spunked our load in the summer for now and don't see it unless we sell Salah or Gakpo which won't happen in Jan. Chelsea will probably add him to their random set of wingers.

We’ve got funds and will make signings in January imho.

Semenyo would be mad if he goes to Chelsea or Utd.

I've seen he's an arsenal fan. I've seen he's a Chelsea fan. I've seen he wants united. I've seen we've agreed personal terms.

Cunt probably will get a huge new contract at Bournemouth

Antoine Semenyo’s January release clause could be worth £65m to Bournemouth if all add-ons met, but slightly less to suitors.

Similar to Alexander Isak’s transfer, the overall number includes solidarity.

Clause drops by around £5m come summer. It must be triggered by January 10 for this winter with Semenyo set to decide his future really soon.

Bournemouth are open to a pre-agreement or loan back. Preference is to keep Semenyo until summer but acceptance the situation is out of their control.

Both Manchester clubs pushing. Chelsea made their initial enquiry on Monday. Liverpool’s main contact was in November, and are now assessing post Isak’s surgery how best to approach January.

Spurs backed off after Semenyo made it clear he preferred other projects.

Long-term regularity of European football and chance to win silverware are both motivating factors. All suitors offering a similar financial package.🇬🇭

Chelsea have the added complication. of their UEFA settlement to deal with.
If they sign Semenyo then they'd have to, at least, drop an equivalent value player from their European squad (don't think they'd actually need to sell).
Point is that they wouldn't just need to drop someone from their squad to accommodate him, it would need to be someone with equivalent cost in terms of amortisation and wages. Whereas if it were us, for example, we'd probably swap him out for Chiesa or Isak for the rest of the season, both of whom wouldn't be likely to play much.
