Antoine Semenyo

Who'd wanna join us now? City will pay more money, they'll probs win the league and their manager isn't a complete cunt. Ok maybe their manager is a complete cunt but the other two points stand

Also, one thing that also went against us was that twat of a fan which has pleaded not guilty.

Klopp probably was a factor, but if we went head to head with city for a transfer there would be zero chance.

I like Semenyo, but he's no Sadio Mane.

Who is out there, that's got that potential? Before Bournemouth/Southampton/Dortmund get them and we have to pay a premium.

Abdul Fatawu at Leicester looked decent the last time I saw him play.

we’re not at peak desirability right now it’s understandable, shame because it seems to align well with our current situation

i just hope we have some decent alternatives scouted

We were never in the race according to Fabrizio romano. Said we enquired in November but nothing since then. Was always between Manchester clubs.

Seriously ? - this must be bollox, never mind. He will probably goto United - will get more game time, he won't get it at City if he does not perform.

You know - you all thought with Isak/Eki and Salah/Gakpo we would be something special up front but truth is we are a worse team that cannot even actually create a decent chances anymore.

If he's not hit the ground running after 5-10 matches he is going into the 6CM black list of useless cunts. Then the cycle of overpaying for players continues...

My point was more that he was a draw for players, Slot doesn’t have that

The pull is the club though. Just look at our summer business. Just about everyone wants to join us.

That was before the downturn in results, culminating in our worst run of form in over 70 years — a stark shift from playing under a title-winning manager to one under pressure. 😵

Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo’s preference is to move to Manchester City in January.

Semenyo’s desire to win trophies is key to his wish to join Pep Guardiola’s side.

As yet nothing formal has been agreed, with the January transfer window not open for another week.

The Athletic reported on Tuesday Chelsea had decided against pursuing a move for Semenyo, 25, after making an initial enquiry.

Manchester United also tried their best to sign the forward, but a move in January was always going to be a stretch
and the club only wished to bring in players who are eager to join. The decision was not due to Ruben Amorim’s system, with United never planning to play Semenyo at wing-back.

Tottenham Hotspur looked into a deal for the forward in the summer and The Athletic reported in the Transfer DealSheet in December that he was also among several players admired by Liverpool.

Why would he even come here? The club have shown no backbone with Salah and will waltz back in to the side once he’s back. Gakpo will play left side. We have no true style of play. We are yellow throughout the side when things get tough. We spunked half a billion with only an Ekitike to show for it. We also have a manager who hasn’t been sacked because there is literally nobody else available. We are a joke of a champion who tried to buy the league.
