Oh ok. So he might not be on that now. He could just be taking the piss and trying his luck.

Director of Football Damien Comolli said: "I want to pay tribute to the way Alberto has conducted himself during these discussions.

"Throughout the entire process, his only desire has been to play football and he has put this ahead of any other considerations and at personal cost to himself. We wish him well for the season ahead."

We've let Soto go and said next to fuck all, so that speaks volumes really, despite what people say

Good luck to the lad, what a farcical signing though, great talent who was fucked around.

Prob released this so loads of people on sat won't go "ZOMG!?! NO AQUA!?"

"AC Milan announces it has acquired Alberto Aquilani on loan with an option to buy the player's rights from Liverpool. Aquilani has signed a contract until June 30, 2014.''

"Has signed a contract until 2014." So its either an outright move or a 3 yrs loan? ???

Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv:"It'sa great move for Alberto. He's got his wife and kid over there. It was difficult for him here.

"When he came back his pre-season training was excellent. We gave him a few games, he did well in those games. But the problem for us was trying to get him in the team. We couldn't get him in the team.

"Obviously everybody wants to play and Alberto is moving over to a fantastic football club. He goes there with the best wishes of everyone and we hope it works out for him, because he was never a problem in any way, shape or form."

Dunno how to interpret that...

Quote from the official:

"Alberto Aquilani has completed his loan transfer from Liverpool to AC Milan. The deal, which includes the option of a permanent move, will end on June 30, 2012."

Hmmm ... Probably the 2014 thingy is if they take up the option to sign him permanently. The offal isn't that accurate with the Dani Pacheco loan move after all.

http://www.acmilan.com/it/news/show/135610

A.C. Milan comunica di aver acquisito a titolo temporaneo con diritto/obbligo di riscatto dal Liverpool FC Alberto Aquilani che ha firmato un contratto economico sino al 30 giugno 2014.

Until they shaft us next year. Of course they have 6M to spend now. We're getting it up the...transfer window from these muscular chaps.

Sadly, there is talk of a 1,75 mill pay off

Cnut. Say what you like about Masher but he put his own money up to help his deal go through (as did Fibreglass recently), not like this chiselling tw@t.

Just noticed this. Those comments by Comolli are out of the same stable as Kenny's praising of Hodgson after he took over, and his saying this morning that if Joe Cole stays "he'll be treated the same as everyone else" despite the fact that Cole's clearly having to go elsewhere to get first team football. It's "Don't rock the boat" stuff and that's fair enough - we don't owe the media the chance to sift through our dirty linen - but not to be taken at face value.
