I created an instance of AutoGPT, tweaked it slightly, and gave it autonomy to complete 20 tasks as it sees fit with the goal of predicting the results today.

This is what it came up with:
  • West Ham vs. Crystal Palace: West Ham to win 2-1.
  • Brighton vs. Wolves: Draw 1-1.
  • Brentford vs. Nottingham Forest: Brentford to win 2-0.

Is this up to date? I’m not aware of all the AI efforts going on but i think chatgpt only had knowledge up to a point last year. Auto gpt is different ai?

I’ll fire a few squids at this on skybet

This is different, and yes, up to date. AutoGPT can access the Internet, write and execute code, and it can make use of multiple ChatGPT agents (GPT-4 and previous models) if it decides that would help it achieve the goal.

This is my quick little stab at it, but I use similar functions for other stuff with reasonable success.

I'll post it's full reasoning and what it did to make these predictions a bit later today.

Bear in mind, if I run it a few times I'm pretty sure I would get a few different results.

I specifically told it to not aim for maximum confidence, just to make it's best guesses in a short time.

@Woland I could, but probably won't.

I'll give it the result and stats from the first match, and allow it to refine it's methodology and then predict the later games again.

Let's see what we get.

Put a tenner on the mulipliet final result. Was going to be 1/20 something but then West Ham scored so ended up getting 1/10 something, let’s see.

Interesting. thanks for the explanation, I’ll have to take a look at auto gpt some time

I don't have electricity right now and I can't access it, but I will share the complete reasoning and tasks that this instance came up with once I can.

I’ve never used this before. How do you interact with it? Are these audio files its response to your request?
This is a combination of various AI tools.
I'm using an API to connect to a text to voice engine on elevenlabs.com and use a custom AI generated voice.

AUTOGPT sends it's reasoning and "internal monologue" there and then plays back the sound file that is returned.

Ladies and Gentlemen good evening.

Let's hope for a Forest win, a late West Ham equaliser wouldn't go a miss either.

brighton already 2-0 up. Wolves are muck. How did they repeatedly look good against us

yet near enough every game was laboured and a struggle. In the cup in particular we were fortunate to get a replay

Near enough every games been a struggle for us all season...Forest West Ham Chelsea Palace etc.

We were shit, not they looked good.

FFS they've already got Ferguson and mitoma as they cash cow for next season, can enciso fuck off?
Done so well tapping into the South American market so far.

No Caicedo, MacAllister, Mitoma and Ferguson in the starting XI too.

the internal monologue is great and very terminator. any way you can get it to review historic results with information from a point in time to improve its predictions?

Yeah, I definitely have some ideas I can play with that for sort of thing, I just don't have the time at the moment.

I'll probably tinker with it again next Saturday.
