I'm so excited (in no small part because I'll be there due to that outstanding ILD), a club like ours deserves champions league football, we're made for it, as Rodgers would say, Liverpool is synonymous with the European cup / champions league. Tuesday will be a fantastic night for the club, but the home game against Real Madrid in October is going to be massive, that'll be us back exactly where we belong, the very top stage in Europe, I cannot wait, and I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll go quite far this year.
I hope you're right. A big learning curve for BR and his backroom team too. but we are made for this competition. Just getting into it is not the point (take note Arsenal). It's trying to win the thing that counts.

Is that how it'll work? Despite having a ticket via you, I might buy another one, thinking it would make it easier next year and for any knockout games, if it improves my chances for the Madrid game, all the more reason.

Ha. The club amaze me the way they handle tickets. I can't believe so many were available this morning. After sorting the other one you end up having your own ticket now. Ah well, at least you've built up a credit on your own card for later sales and for next year. I'm sure you'll sell it out side the ground or on twitter.
Yeh, I'm amazed too, but although £60 is a big hit, if it helps me with the Madrid or Basel game, or potential knockout rounds it's worth it. I'm not sure what to do with it yet if no one on here wants it. It's the same stand as the ticket you got me, so I was thinking I could walk through the turnstiles with the guy then take the ticket back off him, but even so i'll feel nervous giving it to someone I don't know.
You could do that yeah or ask for a deposit for the card. If it's lost or stolen you can get the club to send you out a new one. Think it's something like £15 for a reissue.
Hopefully you will shift the ticket anyway, expensive buying credits but it'd be great if it stood to you for a Madrid ticket.

If I was you I'd also pick up a Basle ticket and try pass it on if you can't attend. You'd be laughing with credits then for future games. I was very close to picking up a Ludo ticket but I know I can't make it.
Weird one isn't it. I think a lot of people bought tickets for Ludo knowing they couldn't make it but wanted to build up a credit on their cards.
Im still trying to get to the Madrid game. Flights aren't too bad. Just need a ticket.
I saw this yesterday, it may interest you, you can get to Madrid, a hotel, and a ticket to the game for under £200. It's with the home supporters though, that's the problem.
