Bilic blast: Slaven savages racist Croatia fans and asks UEFA to dock points
Slaven Bilic has told UEFA to punish Croatia severely – and even dock points – if their fans repeat racist taunts.
The Croatia coach has begged trouble-makers to stay away from the Spain clash (Monday) or face seeing their nation hit hard.
Hundreds of Croatian fans are believed to have racially abused Italy’s Mario Balotelli. UEFA is investigating a picture which shows a banana thrown on to the pitch in the same game.
And in a tough message Bilic last night said: “I don’t like these people, I don’t want these people supporting us. We don’t want them in the stadium. We are angry with these stupid fans as well.”
Asked about the possibility of docking points he said: “We need to have sanctions to stop them forever. It’s very disappointing to hear that some of our supporters have behaved like this.

“As a Croat, as a parent, as a sportsman who comes from a modern, open-minded country, I don’t think there is a specific problem in Croatia with racism. We are a tolerant society where everyone is welcome.”
A UEFA hearing takes place Tuesday into the allegations of racist chants.
