Bite, Nibble, Munch and Chomp

I wonder if the release clause is even going to come into it. Either the club are going to have to back him to the hilt again and take all the shit that will obviously come their way, or they finally accept its not worth the hassle anymore and fuck him off

Do you think we should not have bought him when he was banned for the same thing then?

Yeah, good question. I knew nothing about him at the time beyond the youtube vids I guess.

I suppose like most people that the biting thing was probably a one off.

Another summer of this fucking shit.

Damn you FIFA/FA/Referees/BritishMedia!

Hold out for the release clause. If they don't want to meet it, then fine, we'll keep him.

Just to clarify;

I'm no more morally outraged than anyone else over his actions. I called it for what it is; the act of an absolute fucking dick. It's way back there around page 3 or 4 if you wanna search for it.

I didn't type what Mark, LTW, and all those other mewling cabbages did and say "Horrific, despicable, BUT..." and follow it up with some lame-arsed excuse for his behaviour by citing elblows, or John Hartson, or Alan fucking Shearer's boot - cos that's what dribbling morons do. This man has bitten other men three times, and you're continually prepared to argue how a broken nose would be worse. Those are your words. Amazing. Do you even read them after you've typed them?

So no, I'm not morally outraged at Suarez's actions. He's just a fucking dick.

All of my resentment, every single iota of it, is for the fucking thick as chump supporters we have who find some naive way to defend his actions on here, on social media, fucking anywhere. What is wrong with you?

I woke this morning, opened up facebook on my phone, and there was you Mark dribbling on about how FIFA are corrupt. You even cited Qatar. Have you any idea how ridiculous that is? And you yesterday LTW hammering out 20 different things that could happen to you which would be worse than being bitten? I felt sorry for you, that's why I didn't reply.

Imagine I walked up to you in a bar and bit you. You hadn't really done anything to me, but I just decided to bite you. then I met you 6 months later and did it again, and then another 6 months after that I did it again. You wouldn't be standing there saying that "it was bad yes Ryan, but at least you DIDN'T BREAK MY FUCKING NOSE" WOULD YOU?

Utter fucking morons.

Listen you fucking simpleton, people are defending him by citing different examples because those cases don't draw nearly the same opprobrium. Surely anyone can grasp that? Punishments have to be proportionate to each other to even stand a chance of being just.

I think you are being unfair here Ryan. The faux moral outrage from certain pundits was ridiculous in my opinion. Utter brutes like Shearer and Hartson calling for big big bans. Danny Mills wanted Suarez put in jail. JAIL? Danny fucking Mills like. Ha.

I don't think anyone was regurgitating these soundbites to create some sort of precedence in an attempt to exonerate or excuse Suarez. Social media has been saturated with every Tom Dick and Harry being asked their opinion on Suarez. You can expect these comments to be posted in an internet discussion board on the merit alone that they exist. This thread has been littered with smattering of soundbites, memes and sadly some of the shitest puns imaginable. Not everything posted is an attempt to justify him. No one is trying to justify his actions.

Also, I don't think anyone was laughing at the situation in a thinly veiled attempt to belittle the incident or even make light of it. It was more to do with people finding the whole idea of biting someone bizarre. Everyone thinks Suarez is a grade A tool for biting someone again on live television at a major international tournament. I found the whole thing utterly bizarre that he would do it. He deserved a big ban. However, the majority expected it to be restricted to international games and not impact us as much as it did.

As it stands he will potentially miss out on more game for us than he will for Uruguay. I wouldn't have blinked an eye if he got a two year international ban (the maximum available).

I hope we don't intend on paying his wages if he stays. He has really let us down.

Have a listen to RTE's coverage on it from earlier tonight. For once (IMO) decent analysis.

I was here in Holland when he did the first bite. It was fucking horrible. Way worse than the other two. I also saw how good he was at Groningen and then stepped it up at Ajax. I totally wanted him at Liverpool. There is no way we were in with a chance without it. He was good enough for Barca at Groningen.

Not saying he is not a bad tit like.

The thing i don't understand is why this surprises you . The average fan (myself included to keep you happy) is a fuckwit who blindly follows one team , is convinced everyone is out to get them and hates other teams for what are really trivial reasons .

I love that this is getting to you .

The lack of objectivity on many issues is what irks.

What would we all think of this guy if he played for Chelsea? Would we be citing past examples in the hope that 'justice' is served? Would we bollocks.

When Terry got done for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand - were there pages upon pages of precedents showing worse examples? Were people saying they'd prefer it to a career ending tackle?

You can't have one rule for one and one for another. It just makes you an ignorant supporter.

Everyone agrees he's a twat for doing it, though. Not one person has defended the action of him biting a player. Again.

Here's something I want to know...

Do you people actually like this guy?

Seriously, do you think he's alright?

I look at Suarez in exactly the same way I look at John Terry, or Thierry Henry, or David Cameron. I look at him and think you're a fucking wanker and I can't stand you. He is. He's a complete fucking dick. Have a look at the way he grabs his teeth and rolls around on the floor. He's a fucking gimp.

I can't be the only person who dislikes him, can I?

A lot of football fans, especially the ones on the internet, are far bigger fans of their own club, than they are of the sport as a whole. Most football fans cannot be objective, and the vast majority of them are morons.

You can't reason with them. There's no point in trying to debate issues of morality. It's just a waste of time.

Hahaha I see what you mean. I don't mind him, but yeah I'd hate him if he played for someone else, that's a given, though.

I still find it funny, by the way.

One of my best mates, an Arsenal supporter, thinks Suarez is a complete cock.

So do I, so does everyone I presume. Doesn't change the fact that you can think the ban is harsh.

That Arsenal fan would love him if he had ended up going there 😉

I'm not sure if the ban is harsh or not really. 4 months? Meh, could have been 2 months, could have been 2 years.

If you bite another man, for the third time, then you kinda open yourself up to whatever you get don't you?

True. I just think the unfair part of it is how it punishes us far more than it punishes Uruguay.

I was expecting a long international ban (2 years) and maybe a few games for us, worst case scenario. I would have been fine with that.

Well I imagine the club will argue it, or sue.

But with this cunt at your club you're always running the risk.

This is the image I despise the most.

I don't find it funny. I just think he's one of the world's greatest wankers. Look at he fucking hack of him.

For the first time I am starting to think we might be better getting rid of him.

Whether the ban is fair is neither here nor there really. The fact is that these bans are only going to get longer the more he does it and I don't think anyone can seriously think that he won't do it again.

If he don't get rid of him when a club is still willing to pay good money for him then we might end up a year or two years down the line having to sack him because he'll be banned for duration of his contract.

As I said before, Uruguay, the national team set-up, needs to be sanctioned for their attitude. Otherwise it's a joke. If the penalty is meant to really achieve something, these bozos need to be smacked into sanity. From day one - from the Ajax incident onwards, this mad bunch of twits have consistently encouraged Suarez to feel like he's an entirely blameless individual whose only misfortune is to find himself in a country where nutters control the media. It's like Bale stamping on someone's face several times and the Welsh press reacting by calling all Spanish hacks a bunch of mad troublemakers. At present we have Uruguay dismissing the whole thing, and they'll welcome him back in November as the victim. If that isn't changed the whole thing is a waste of time, money and energy.

Definitely, which is why I wouldn't be against selling him. I'm 50/50. The fact he's such a brilliant player is the only thing that makes it a difficult decision, obviously.

I could not agree more.
