Bite, Nibble, Munch and Chomp

Normally if you elbow someone, even if t some kind of revenge, youll be redcarded? I dont advocate that FIFA should look into Chiellini here, but if they did they had a good case against him. Would make it even more funny!!!

I don't get everyone finding this funny. It's fucking indefensible. How doesn't he realise there are millions of cameras on him? What advantage was he hoping to achieve?

I know there's no way to say this without coming across all 'Internet hard man', but if a grown man bit me in any situation I would punch him in his fucking mouth.

What a fucking imbecile.

You mean to tell me there's nothing funny about a grown man expressing blind rage by the kindergarten method of biting people, when he has bitey teeth, and then holding his teeth afterward?

And there's also absolutely nothing funny about another grown man showing bite marks to a ref, and another grown man pulling up his shirt in an attempt to cover those same bite marks?

Something can be funny, and indefensible, this is incredibly funny, indefensible, and not terribly important, at all. The scenes were absurdly hilarious.

Hope they do Danny Mills retrospectively. Nobody would remember him if he had not been such a violent cunt.

Why does it have to be the longest ban in football ever? Is it the worst thing ever done in football? Is it worse than match fixing? I cannot understand how utter bellwhiffs like Danny Mills are employed as football experts.

Granted, it's not exactly the behaviour we would like from out leading striker however the reaction is rather ridiculous.

Imagine what today's manic media, twits on Twitter and crooks at FIFA would make of Schumacher's violent attack on Battiston?

Luckily for Schumacher the ref saw that one, gave the five yard kick and FIFA could not care less about video afterwards.

That Ben Thatcher elbow on Mendes is probably the worst thing I've seen in football and it got an 8 game ban with a suspended 15 game ban.

Agreed, that was absolutely brutal. The expression on Thatcher's face when he did it. I remember when we were heavily linked with him. *shudders*

EDIT: Apparently that's not the one I was thinking of - I was thinking of this elbow instead:

Its like pundits are competing to come up with the most extreme punishment they can. Mills knew it was his turn and had to come up with something good.

'Long ban. No, no, the longest ban. Ever. Hmmm, not that's not hit hard enough. For all matches, everywhere. Even with his kids in the park. No football at all. Just worldwide though. That's a risk. Ok, jail. For life. And banned from the prison team too. Right, try to beat that one Shearer...'

It's all the pundits who were total cunts in their playing days as well, and they are saying these things without a hint of irony. Next up we'll have Ben Thatcher or Terry Hurlock saying that surely a public hanging is the only suitable punishment.

That ... or Keane's tackle ... or Cantona's karate kick ... or Maradona's kung fu kick etc etc ... What Suarez did is disgusting and ridiculous, and so 'out there' that it's becoming 'worse' than far worse assaults we've seen in recent times (Witsel breaking some guy's leg with a wreckless tackle etc) ... Give him an int'l ban for sure but the commotion this has caused you'd think he'd Keane'd Cheillini

The fact he's done it a few times makes it a better comparison for Suarez biting, not excusing Suarez but this sort of thing is infinitely more dangerous.

The photographers don't even start taking pictures, they're all shocked.

I think it's clear Chiellini was throwing his shoulder into Luis's gob there. Clear as day...

Haha, I just want to see it from a better angle. I'm not disputing he bit him or anything.

I just think that it's amazing that with all the cameras in football stadia these days, we've only seen the incident from 2 angles, which were almost the same.

Yea it's not the worst thing ever to occur on a pitch and doesn't require the biggest ban ever. I think they should force some sort of counselling on him.

It's not the worst thing, no. People are more appalled by the act of biting, than the actual consequences.

And while it's not the worst thing to happen, it's the fact that he's done it 3 times now that is what people what getting at.

I remember that - He knocked him clean out. Oxygen had to be given pitchside. He also had a seizure on his way to hospital. He only missed 6 games and had a fine of six weeks....
