Bite, Nibble, Munch and Chomp

Cant wait to see uruguays reasons for the appeal. id like to see them refuse to play as they wont get though anyway and itd be a laugh. theyre just insane enough to do it

Even if we cant appeal to Fifa we apperantly can appeal to CAS etc according to the journos.

Why would we bother. Weve supported him through thick and thin and always get burnt.
Sell him to Madrid for 70m
And that will be that.

I think the ban is a fucking joke personally. How Liverpool are being punished for something committed on International duty I'll never fathom.

By all means ban him for 2 years of International football and fine the fuck out of him but don't punish his club side.

Watch a video of his performances last season and you'll see why we should bother.

I'd be more than happy to have him for 20 games next season if he can do it again. He's an absolute pleasure to watch.

what about the next time when he gets an even longer ban?

It may all work out for the best. Suarez always busts a gut in every match and of course gets a good battering. I thought towards the end of last season he was looking knackered. A good long rest may be just what he needs long-term.

A little bird in Colombia told me they've also banned their goal celebration. It makes the Suarez ban seem less ridiculous by comparison.

[article]Controversial FIFA asked to Colombia to change goal celebration

Through one of the members of its Executive Committee, the governing body of world football will just inform Luis Bedoya, president of the Colombian Football Federation, its "deep concern" at the way the players on his team have decided to hold goals.

The choreography inspired by salsa choke genre with roots in the Pacific region of the coffee country has caused great impact to the point that other selected have tried unsuccessfully to imitate, drew the attention of Intellectual Property Department FIFA last Friday issued a concept that is described as "not acceptable."

The reason is that the dance in question is not in the list of officers of the powerful entity based in Zürich. That is, those whose creators have paid for them to be interpreted in the framework of the tournament. As is well known, the governing body Sepp Blatter is particularly sensitive and careful about such matters.

Alternatively, he was sent to a list of authorized Bedoya rhythms that could replace that generated controversy and, according to the entity, have considerable closeness to choke sauce. This is the Meneito, the dancing gorilla and Aserejé.

But this is not the only obstacle facing the striking choreography. Organizers are also concerned that their content "transcends playfulness to enter the realm of the erotic."

This situation worries the entity as football is a television product that is promoted as suitable for all audiences and all cultures and it is well known that any sexual ingredient can make trouble especially in countries like China, North Korea or Iran where eroticism is always on the look of the Government. If we can't appeal then why should we take any notice of the ban? Typical FIFA one way street. Suarez is a dick though, he brings it on himself and I'm tired of his biting shit. He may as well retire from football if he can't sort it out. The general football ban, usually reserved for drug cheats is disproportionate though. I'd be more than prepared to sell him now though. Genius or not I'm fed up of hearing the cunts name.

Agreed. I've given up. 50 mill and Sanchez and he's off for me.

They will. In addition to his ability, while the ban on playing for Uruguay lasts they won't have to let him go for internationals, with the extra upheaval and risk of injury that entails.

We didnt win anything. Maybe if he had played 38 league games we would have. Or maybe if we replace him with a forward who plays 38 times we will.

We should be getting another striker anyway.

I don't think we actually missed him last season, missing a few games may have made him play better.

I will be a little sad if he goes, he's absolutely brilliant to watch, I'm not sure if we've ever had a player that has made be laugh with delight as much. And I doubt we'll easily get another. But I'd agree, if it happens we could end up better off in terms of results.

We'll go back into mid table obscurity without him I reckon.
Nearly all of the rest of our team finished bottom of a group that Costa Rica won.
It's fucking well depressing.

It feels as if his entourage have been negotiating his transfer away from the club ever since he arrived. Obviously, to an extent, most big players are doing this, but his mob have been doing it remarkably assiduously and shamelessly blatantly. When you think of all the trouble he's caused and all the games he's missed, he's been a disgrace. A disloyal, undisciplined, irresponsible shit of a man.

Don't be depressed! We started off last season like a train without Luis and he gave us a big boost when his suspension finished. The same thing can happen next season. Luis really needed a good rest so in a way, this couldn't have worked out better.

Well that's the upside to it I suppose.
