Havent seen it on Twitter but a quick search didnt confirm to much except that its rumoured he got caught. It started yesterday morning, the rumour that is.

Can't find it on any media outlet.

However, bit harsh LTW, we don't know the ins and outs. Could have been a brandy laced Christmas Cake and lots of it.

My point is, he's human and people make mistakes. Yes he's an idiot if true, yes he should be fined and banned from driving if true. But he's not the first and won't be the last to be caught DUI.
 
Yeah but he's still fucking stupid. People know the limits, most people I know just won't have anything at all if they know they are going to drive. A dickhead footballer destroyed a family not too long back by DUI, he killed a father and two sons. Imagine how that wife/mother feels now about people just having a tipple.

It should be a strict no alcohol policy when it comes to driving, to put the whole thing to bed.

Firmino is in the public eye and a roll model to young footballers. I hope we throw the fucking book at him.

Its confirmed by the Echo mate. Stupid for doing it and Klopp will rightly be fuming. There is no excuse for driving under the influence.
But its as you say human to fuck up and lets just hope he learns from it.
Will be interesting to see if he starts tomorrow.

Its so uneccessary as well. They're fucking loaded with cash, so just take a cab or hire a driver or fucking anything.
 
Twat, all drink drivers are, but I guess he's grown up in a different culture that's the only excuse you can give him, still, what the hell is he doing having alcohol two days before a game, I thought that was also a big no no.
 
Aussies drink drive all over the place, still shocks me how common place it is.

Strange footballers don't have drivers.

He can still play versus Chelsea. Its not like he'll be caught up in court for 16 hours.

Its true that it isnt an ideal preparation for the game though.

Even in my darkest days I've never DUI - Amazing considering. Silly Bobby but he'll learn.

Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone. I absolutely agree its a gamble not worth taking but no one was harmed luckily by the grace of good fortune.
 
That's a bit harsh on the concept of gambling. When people gamble they are trying to obtain the upside whilst accepting the risk of there being a downside. Drinking and driving has no upside, it's just not caring for other people because you're a self-absorbed cunt.
