There was no boycott of Qatar despite human rights violations, it won't happen here.
But the second Trump tries to involve himself in the tournament, crowds need to boo the fuck out of him and the players need to tell him to do one if he tries to interfere like he did with the Club Word Cup final. A bit of side-eye from Cole Palmer won't be enough this time.

But a boycott of a big tournament like that is a political statement, and there needs to be a big reason for that.

An invasion of Greenland would obviously be such a thing, but that's unlikely.

Remove that, and what actual grounds for a boycott are there?
 
I've been boycotting much of international football because it's fucking awful. No further reasons needed.

Does anyone really want to *ever* watch England play a qualifier against Andorra or Montenegro again?

Still watch some of the big tournaments, just with less interest and excitement than I used to.

If no-one boycotted the Qatar tournament that was so obviously corrupt it turned into memes, why would anyone boycott this one?

Anyway. Boycotting the World Cup. My 2p would be that it really wouldn't have an affect on the majority of the USA population who seem indifferent to Soccer. It's more as a 'nice to have'/vaguely interesting.

I'm more pissed of with FIFA fuckery when it comes to the WC
