Thank you for not only giving us a team capable of going to Spurs and thumping them but also for giving us back our identity.

No team in the league will fancy playing us now.

I can't remember the last time I was this happy or optimistic in the league with a Liverpool side.

That could well be the best 90 mins I've ever seen from Liverpool.

In 18 months Rodgers is working miracles.

Holy fuck we could be top Saturday in mid December!!!!!!

Optimistic?
Didn't you say we would get battered today?

I said a few weeks ago that he has been focusing on scoring goals. Now we know we can score against anyone & when concentrate on possession we can have the best of other worlds & put teams under so much pressure whilst scoring is brilliant.

That substitution was a serious sign of intent.
Goal difference makes a huge difference at the end of the season.
His faith in Henderson also has given the young lad confidence to impose himself on games.
He's doing a great job.

I did because great as the signs were I just didn't think this set of players could put it all together like that.

Today is what everyone connected with Liverpool dreamed of when Rodgers took over.

He's completely won me over today.

No Gerrard, no Sturridge, no Toure, no Agger, no Enrique and yet we still put in a display like that insane!!

We're moving in the right direction, and he's got us playing the right brand of football that the last few managers haven't.
I always said when he came in, I'd be just happy if he got us playing the same brand of football as Swansea.
Just hope the board back him to push on.

Won't win you the title.. but will get you into the top 4..

Yep. We've played 16 games this season and we're on 33 points which averages to about 2.06 points per game. That's 78 points after 38 games, which is pretty good, but we need to be on about 2.3 points per game to be in the title race.
Great win today but we need to keep this going. It would be extremely disappointing if the board doesn't invest in the team in January. With Suarez on form, Sturridge and Gerrard on their way back, who knows where this could lead.

That chat clearly doesn't compute this season.

Fucking look at the top 6! 81 could quite easily win you the league this season,Arsenal will lose a few more, as will City & chelsea and there'll be fuck knows how many draws.

The league is wide-open, there'll be noone getting near 100pts this season.

Nah city will be formidable after xmas..

They won't lose many more games..

86 points will win them the title...

he seems to have a vision, a philosophy, all the players seem to know what they are doing meant to do. I love his comments about working off the ball post match as well. he handled the suarez factor brilliantly, although a lot of credit goes to kenny who did everything to show luis love (when many advised otherwise) which proved key to keeping him.

Liverpool Everton 1-2 would be the funniest

Then when they lose Lukaku and drop back into obscurity we chalk up a few cheeky consecutive titles

The wins coupled with the brilliant football are what gets me excited most. If we play like that against Chelsea (and we can) this board will be a load of wank

It's only our 3rd away win in 8 games played this season, lads. Let's calm down a bit, shall we ?

However........
Liverpool's Premier League record under Brendan Rodgers

Played: 54
Won: 26
Drawn: 16
Lost: 12
Winning Percentage: 48.1 %

Given all the fairly limited resources, Suarez-gate, and various challenges that comes with taking a new job...i think that's quite a commendable record, don't you think ?

But what i liked about yesterday's game was our brand of football. Pass and move, pass and move - with frightening pace. Some may call it tiki taka but screw that, we coined and fashioned the pass and move, liverpool groove way and hence, we shall use what is ours.

I'd pay any money to watch that kinda football anytime of the day. Even if it meant we drew/lost a match.
I live for the game like that. #onlycosican

Hey!

It's still today's match here. Don't distance my memory. 😉

Stamford Bridge will be a tight-knit affair, I'm afraid.

It will be interesting though.
BR and AVB - once former students of the teacher, JM.
BR, who has just got the better of AVB, his former rival for the master's affection, now takes on their master himself.
It's like the Karate-kid of football.
Can't wait.
